it happened to me when i got my turbosmart type 2 veeport blowoff valve. no matter how hard you get the tension it will keep stalling. if you have a stock computer,then thats the reason it stalls cause the bov vents and the computer is only tuned for the stock bov which re-circulates it. i ended up putting my stock one back on and no more stalling or you could get a good ecu $1500 and get it tuned for it.

thanks everyone,will find a new mech. what brand of clutch should i ask to be installed?

i recently seen my mechanic to get a quote for a heavy duty clutch and he told me that it will cost $300 plus another $100 to install it. then he says that it will damage different areas on my car and it can eventually crack my firewall. do yous know what hes on about cause one of my friends says the clutch has nothing to do with a firewall . also any ideas of what clutch i should get for it. thanks.

my inside of my skyline smells like theres a fuel leak or something everytime i start it up and my friends skyline smells the same inside his. is there any reason for this,i took it to a mechanic but he says he cant find the source of the smell. have yous had the same problem?

i have bought a turbosmart type2 veeport bov and installed it on my skyline. now my car keeps stalling and ive followed the instruction and tightened the spring but it still stalls,we have checked over it and theres no leaks,no blockages and no collapsed or twisted hose. i got the spring as tight as it could go and it still stalled so i ended up taking it off and put the factory part back on and it runs perfect and doesnt stall and now i have wasted $400 on the adapter and bov. im confused to why it stalls,hope yous can help me out.
