$1400 - Negotiable on price. Cheers -
Hello All, Have some 17" Rays Gram Lights 57D for sale. Where on the car when i got it and have been great. Reason for sale is i have got 9" all round now so i can rotate wheel/tyres at the track. They are: 17 x 8.5 +30 - 235/45 Federal RSR's - I would say around 70% tread. 17 x 9.5 +38 - 255/40 Federal RSR's - I would say around 50% tread. Need to confirm offsets but i think thats what they are/can be bought off the shelf as. Hardly any rash at all. Sorry i dont have close up pics. No dents or anyting like that. Perfectly balanced. Photos are from R33 GTST. Fronts sit in a bit cause im running 4 deg neg camber. Rears are about 1.5 deg neg camber. I ran these with no guard rolling/flaring and they where fine. Did hit the plastic inner guard on full lock at the ride height i was at. Probably due to camber. Plenty of clearance for brakes - Pics are 330mm 8 pot Ksport - plenty of room remaining. Price - $1450 Location - Melbourne only - Pickup. Email - [email protected] Phone - 0420208177 Welcome to come and have a look and check them out. SE suburbs of Melbourne - Near Caulfiald. Cheers, Dave

There was an incident in one of the last sessions wasnt there? Dont know the full story but it sucks when that happens at the track. Especially all the way out at Winton. Hope all involved got there cars sorted and made the journy home. Cheers all to a good day though. The poor RSR's wernt up for the challenge but still had a lot of fun!!

Looking forward to this one. Been a few months since ive driven my car! Weather is supposed to be sub 30 which is good for Winton as well. Usual servo meet on the Monday morning Johnny?? Cheers, Dave Madden

ALthough i think i chewed through at least 100 bux in fuel!!! Cheers, Dave

And because they wear extremely quickly. It wont take long until they clunk and bang and are worn out. Most of the cheap arms use unsealed rose joints....there just no good for everyday use in all weather types. Cheers

R34 Gtt Brake Upgrade?
Nismo32 replied to robsan's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Im pretty sure GTR brembos are all 324mm. Not much of a diameter increase really. Better off going with a K-Sport style of upgrade. Again only 330mm for the 17" wheel option. I bet the Brembos perform similar to the K-sport brakes (4 piston v 8 but overall piston area probably quite similar??) but given there similar money you get new K-sports as opposed to 2nd hand brembos. G4 Racing Brake Replacement Parts
Nismo32 replied to skylinekid's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I called K-Sport a while ago and asked about replacement rotors for there kits (330mm kit). It was just for the rotor. Would have to re-use the hat. Front pair where $800. This was around 6 months ago though. Not sure if it still stands. Cheers -
Hey bud, As far as i can remember Skylines have a hydraulically adjusting clutch. So they should compensate for the wear in the clutch. But you can adjust the "friction" point of the clutch by adjusting the rod that connects the pedal to the master cylinder. Just dont get to carried away and adjust it to beyond the point for the clutch fluid to be able to release pressure into the master cylinder reservoir as it gets hot. If its biting on the floor you should adjust the master cylinder rod out....or towards the rear of the car. I believe that is the right way....but someone can correct me if im wrong. You can also adjust the resting point of the clutch.....but again you want to keep the pedals pretty much in line. But there may be room to move a little there. Cheers

Tyre Life Of Semi Slicks
Nismo32 replied to eightsixboy's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
KU36's overheat quickly at the track and there performance decreases a lot (Along with wear increase). Need to let them cool every 2-3 laps. I suppose you cant really compare street and track. My KU36 fronts have done 2 track days and about 5000Km's and are 30-40% worn i guess. But at the sort of price they are....if they only last 15-20K i wouldnt be to fussed. The federals (RS-R) are a better tyre no doubt. However they are no good in the wet (Standing water wet - damp is no problem). They dont seem to have a channel that runs the circumference of the tyre....so when there is a bit of water on the road they struggle a little. As a street only tyre. The KU36 is very hard to go past given its cost. (Most of the high end road tyres....Bridgestone RE01Rs and what not are better again.....but there big money) Cheers -
