alright so the time has come to upgrade form my gtst and my options are rx7 s8, supra twin turb or r32 gtr... anyone know which is faster..which has the most potential for big power and whcih one is generaly a better car?

alright a quik one...are gtr injectors better than gtst injectors for a cheap upgrade only looking for 250kw all up will the gtr's deliver?

im currently looking at buying a new turbo and want to get a high mount manifold. Do i need any other new parts to do this? or will it be as easy as i hope : )

hi guy My car makes a slight rattle noise on idle and ive heard that this is something to do with the wastegate on the stock turb....? Was wondering if it is that, if it can be fixed? and wether its not worth the effort and to save for a bigger turbo. Which brings me to my next question, What does the .60 and 1.15 mean? m not sure how to judge wether a turbo is gonna be any good so any help would be apprechiated. I drive a r33 series 2 gtst cheers. nik

hahahha yeah id agree with the guys before me i wouldnt boost past 12 on a stock turbo ive heard of people boosting to about 14-16 but i dont see it being worth the risk.. thats my 2c

I agree take the spoiler off, i took mine off a while ago and love the look of it now. Same as most ppl i am looking at getting a d wing later on but atm would rather spend the money on the engine : )

Nah mate im very new at this how would i check timing?

Not sure if its anything to worry about but is starting to annoy me...When i start her up its take a fair while before it fires up like 10-15 seconds of turning over. What Could be causing this? and is it easily fixed? Cheers in advance

from what i can figure stright smooth flowing would be more benificial... i know it defiantly is on the exhaust side hence why mandrel bent is preffered to make it flow faster. I presume it would do the same on the intake and more flow = more power (from what i know anyways) please correct me if im wrong : )

I was wondering if there is anyway to find out or test a boost gauge to see if its accurate? i have installed a boost controller but dont want to clockit up to high before knowing wether what the gauge is telling me is actually what the boost is at.....any ideas?

Alright so i had a look under my car this morning and noticed i only have a catback exhaust...What can i expect to gain from making it turbo back with split dump and high flow cat? And where should i start cat first of dump first? and finally any suggestions on brands or sizes? its 3 inch from cat back

Im reasonably new to this stuff myself but if i were u id get a decent boost gauge so u can see it accurately. Are you running stock boost ? or clocked it up?

+ 1 for e-manage ultimate..The fact that it can be updated as new software comes out won it for me. and it doesnt hurt that its a lil cheaper than the pfc. Getting one installed in about two weeks should be good.
