I bit the bullet and bought one the other week, works very well. The only downside is that it can only show the first 8 characters of the name on the song/artist etc, but at the end of the day that doesnt really matter. Currently using a 2gig ipod, i find that it is a good size. ~350 songs that I would actually listen to out of the thousands on the computer.

I think they look good on there, I am almost considering buying a set for my silver 4door

Hey all, I currently have a pioneer deh9650 in my car and I am sick of having to change cds all the time. I want to hook up my ipod to the car, I have had a look on the pioneer website and seen that the CD-IB100-II is somewhat compatible. The main thing i want to do is just put all of my music from my computer and have it play songs randomly, but there would be times where i want complete control of the playlist. I am just wondering if anyone has tried this combination and what limitations this will have with my head unit. Cheers ShanO`

Gday all, I am having a bit of a problem with my car. About 6 weeks ago I put a new battery in the car cos the original one from japan died. I had been driving around for a few weeks and everything was fine. Over the last week I have noticed the electrics in the car getting weaker, windows winding up slower, stereo cutting out etc... This morning i got out my multimeter to check the voltage on the battery and found that the voltage was the same whether the car was running or not. I then removed one of the terminals too see if the car would stall and confirm that there was a problem with the alternator. When I removed the terminals the idle speed of the car picked to where it would normally be and when taking a measurement from the leads, the voltage had returned to where it should be and increased/decreased with revs as per normal. I then turned my attention to the battery. I put my battery into my parents car and started it, I checked the voltage of the battery and everything was working as it should, my battery is fine. I then put my parents battery into my car to see if there was any difference. No difference, voltage was still the same whether the car was running or not. Does this mean that my alternator is on its way out, only putting out just enough power to keep my car running, or could it be something else?

Gday All, I am currently considering buying a set of coilovers (Tein SuperStreets) for my skyline but I am a bit unsure of a few things. The main thing I am am concerned about is the legality of coilovers. Obviously apart from the ability to lower you car below the legal limit, is there anything else which can cause them to be illegal? Do the need to be of a certain shock design? Do they need to be ADR approved? I am in Queensland if it makes any difference... Any help will be appreciated... Cheers ShanO`
