  1. That looks awesome!
  2. Keep buying them that way sk, much much cheaper then what we can get... You wouldnt be able to give us any contacts at all?
  3. Sounds like a great idea, out of interest what sensors are you using? Im at a bosch distrubutor so if you want some pricing on some bosch widebands...
  4. Looks good there, out of interest does the pod interfere with your vision at all? ie. from the drivers seat it doesnt extend out beyond the widths of the a pillar? Also what size guage does it take as well?
  5. Damn your going well getting it at that price...
  6. Where did you purchase it from at $150 retail SK? Cause here at work we are a distrubutor of davies craig products and their listed $260 retail!
  7. Theres a plenty series 1 and theres quite a few series 2 as well..
  8. Does it feel like its got more power to yourself? Obviously it will be more towards higher speed that you start getting the extra power. Oh and where did you get those clear fornt indicators?
  9. Great stuff there! Im not a big fan of the pipe running under the intercooler, but I guess it would be no different witht he rb25 as the bloody inlet manifold runs back over the motor anyways so it saves it going through the engine bay. Im keen to see the power difference from this, how much boost are you running?
  10. Damn I love the yellow series 2 stag, good buy there I had some 12 year old boy on a bike that was riding along and stopped and was looking at the car as I was walking back for the shops and he said "damn thats a really nice car" and I said thanks and then he said "do a burnout when you leave" Damn younguns.. Amazed me that such a young kid liked it
  11. I get around 400kms to a tank just driving aroudn town and thats getting under it a little every now and again.. Id expect 500km+ for highway driving, Ill find out soon.. Also I might add in that when testing new cars they used to do it on a circuit with windows up and no air con on and at constant 80km/h from what I remember. The testers then complianed how hot it was of course and they now supposly test them on a dyno still at 80km/h from memory and no wind resistance of course, most likely they would put some load in compensation on the dyno. Thats why you never usually get eh figures they quote
  12. Haha thanks brazen I knew I put it somewhere here NGK BCPR7ES (copper, gapped to 0.8 mm) Should be able to get them at any parts store fairly cheap.
  13. Out of curiosty SK what do you plan for any transmission fmods for your stagea to help improve launches? As you know I dont know too much about autos but is a trans brake a feasable option for the stagea auto transmission? Im really wanting to get something to fix up the slow launches ie. higher revs on launch but still be fine to drive day to day (can increase torque convertor revs for around $380 but it will be llike that permantly). Damn you nissan, why curse the rs four series one to autos!!
  14. Sounds exactly like my car ICE12, by the time you start getting some good go just after 100 you already have gone over the finish.. The launch sounds like mine as well, a big bog down burkey22: Try some of the NGK 0.8mm gapped ones, I put them in and they seem to have fixed the problem, Ill try and find the aprt number with you.. Not worth the extra $$ for the iriduim, I can get them dirt cheap (my work is a NGK distrubutor) but with how rich the motor can run at times and if you have plans for more boost etc. you'll end up fouling up the iridiums, best to replace every 20,000kms and have a nice clean set that you know for certain The realy key is, what gap where the plugs that were used? 0.8mm seems to be ideal against the recommened factory 1.1mm
  15. I love the looks you get in the stagea, of usually 'wtf is that'? The good part is that it has some go to match the looks.. The people I get looking at it are generally older then the people I used to with my old car (Orange Turbo Starlet featured in fast fours) which I definatly like
  16. Good to see someone else keen as well burkey22, as for the high rev miss, what spark plugs are you using?
  17. Damn there is a little bit of touch competition But Im certain there are others out there trying to see what kind of times they can get on a feasable budget
  18. Yes I remmeber seeing them quite cheap on nengun, some of the reason why I can see it as being a viable mod for the car, so in your own opinion the SAFC would be a great way to lean the motor out a little to make some more power instead of going full aftermarket computer which just wouldnt be worth it for the costs and stuffing around with the auto etc.? Just want to make sure that the tuning quality of the SAFC is quite well regarded and does a good job without risk to the motor when tuned correctly? hopefully even help fuel usuage get down
  19. Thanks so much for that SK, your posts are so informative which is great to see, and everything I thought would be the difference between the two you did mention, perosnally I think Ill go with the S-AFC, easier to tune as you said which of course means less tune points but with the standard turbo and cams etc. I dont think I will be going for a big varience, great to see that you can also tune for WOT and 70% or thereabouts, one thing Ill hand to the RB25 over the starlets I have worked with is the fact the tps shows a varience whereas a lot of Toyotas are open or closed The blue screen would make me happy as easier to tune with in the car so to speak, although I wouldnt relaly want to touch anything after a tune on the dyno, and with the avc-r I dont want two bloody blue screens, too damn ricey for me! Ill have to really weigh up my options in what to do, I really want to lean it out a bit as it was very much on the rich side on things when we ran it on the dyno. How can you tell which 'series' SAFC it is? Is there any easily identfiable marks/visual differences?
  20. I lost it the other day as well: http://www.freeway-dolphin.co.jp Also I found these clear side indicators on ebay, shoudl these fit the Stagea as they are listed for the R34? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...item=4526195019
  21. I was just wondering if anyone else thinks we should start up a thread for people to put in their current power figures and 1/4 mile times for their stageas and the mods done to their car to achieve these figures? I know there is a section on the forum for something like this for skylines, but I think it would be beneficial for this stagea section to have something like this so other owners can get an idea of what figures everyone else is getting and the mods required to do so without having to ween through hundreds of skyline figures?
  22. Thats the same thing I want to do with my car as well so the tint doesnt look so out, if I used T35 on the front windows it would still look quite out. I saw up here in qld one of those stickers on the stagea, so at least you've earned your signature
  23. List updated, 16 Stagea owners from Australia so far..
  24. Hehe yah for factory tint! Thanks for the good replies there guys, looks like its all legit now.. Funy to see a few people here have had problems with it for compliancing On the subject of one shade lighter on the rear windscreen mine does seem to be a lighter shade then the others, is anyone elses like this? Would it be that it wasnt smoked glass on the rear windscreen?
