  1. I have a few questions about the standard window tint on the Stageas that Im hoping some pros on here might be able to answer.. What is the exact reasoning for tinting all the windows bar the front driver and passenger windows? You can see it now on some of the new toyota four wheel drives as well. I know some of the reason was because the owner of the car in prestige vehciles usually was in the back but im certain a stagea wouldnt go that far... Is this standard tint able to be removed at all or is it somehow part of the glass and not able to be removed because as far as I know under the new compliancing laws and removable tint is to be removed. Is this tint actually darker then what is generally 'legal' in Australia (T35) but is it fine to have as it has been complianced with it? Is it true that you can have the tint on the windows not including front driver and passenger and windscreen as dark as you want to as the car is a wagon? Thanks

Just wondering if anyone knows the way to extract fault codes from a Series 1 Stagea, I took out the ECU but doesnt have the typical led lights on it for checking fault codes, so im presumbing theres some kind of diagnostic connector that needs playing with? Just wanting to see if my car has logged any falt codes as a result of an on going problem Ive been having and still not been ale to solve and no one has any definate answers for http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=61087
  3. SK: I think you have played before with the SAFC, in your opinion which was the better between it and the jaycar product and what main differences between the two.. In the case of average upgrades (full exhaust, 11psi or so and front mount) which would be the more cost effective way to go?
  4. I have the same markings on my lenses as well, its probably not going to define the exact indicator though I think because its the same part number either side Be great to do a group buy through dolphin though. They would be able to say as well if their the same I would imagine.

  6. Yah another qld stag and its a 260rs Those indicators could be close to the normal ones I think? I think you might have some more chance of some other aftermarket indicators fitting as you have more room to play by the looks of things..

I might let up the boost a little once I have the front mount and dump pipe on the car, that way in my opinion Ill be pushing the turbo just as hard as I am at the moment, with less restrictions such as full exhaust and front mount intercooler (well at least the piping change) you can safely say that running say 11psi as opposed to 7psi or so with standard gear you'll be pushing the turbo just the same.. As for increase in sound, what sound deadening stuff in the airbox are you talking about? Nothing I could see there? Mine isn't insanely loud, defanatly not as loud as a friends r34 with just a pod filter.. Certainly audible but hard to hear with windows up and a little stereo going.. Its not a whining noise is it?

  17. Judging by other threads it does seem to be occuring every no and again, out of interest was yours an auto? Certainly with this many people having this problem someone must have some solutions?

Update: I have now tried many other solutions to this problem still with no luck, the following are the things I have done to the car since I last posted in this thread.. * Replaced spark plugs with ngk 0.8mm gap * Electrical tape on coils as a temporary measure * Cleaned throttle body * Replaced O2 sensor with new one And just now adjusted the throttle position sensor placement to increase the voltage at idle (incase it still thought throttle was shut and doing injector cut too early when throttle was slightly open as this is when the problem occurs.) The voltage at idle was 0.45 then went in .05 increments to 0.70 still with no change other then higher idle which shows it was making a change but not fixing the problem. Also checked the voltage was increasing with turning the throttle.. Argh, im starting to run out of ideas, anyone can help at all??
