  1. hehe, yeah i guess your right. Going to give qld transport a call tomorrow and see how i go. cheers
  2. ahh nice!!! Wanna lend me that trade plate!!!! hehe. I need to get to skid pan on the 14th but im trying to avoid spending $150 in tow truck fees for a $100 dollar skid pan.Gonna see what qld transport can do for me....... The rb25 will be tuff when finished. I think i need to get a decent sized turbo on mine as she's a bit heavy!!!
  3. I still owed a few dollars on the car and although john from import bitz said i could take it home whenever, i didn't want to take it until i'd paid every cent. Summoner, the car was bought to my house on a tow truck and it has been in the garage getting work done to it ever since. Unfortunately i am still up for compliance and rego before i can go cruising in it. So it probably wasn't me chief. However, i will be going out to the skid pan on the 14th of November either on Tow truck or some way for a bit of fun!! Adrian, yeah i was meaning to ask you what was happening with yours?? Is the rb25 in it yet? I drove past the other day and pointed the laurel out to my bro and he was shocked cuz it was the only other one he'd seen apart from mine. The car as it stands now has malpassi fuel reg bosch 040 fmic 3" stainless exhaust with a very dented cannon many thanks to the tow truck front and rear strut braces Tein HR's cusco 2 way lsd quickshifter aluminium diff cradle bushes aftermarket clutch and fly few niggly things like nardi wheel, handbrake etc The seat looks like stockish looking trim, but holds onto you real tight so im not sure what the deal is. ETA for the road, about 2 months unfortunately as im poor now!!! cheers Jays
  4. jaqule should be able to get a few good pics this saturday at the dyno day.

from CBD, about 15-20 mins from the story bridge. go over the story bridge heading outbound and head off to your left onto Shafston Av, it then becomes Lytton Rd, which then turns into Wynnum Rd in the space of a klm or two. Just keep following Wynnum Rd all the way out till it becomes Manly rd, then you hit a roundabout just after the caltex on the left hand side Turn left at the roundabout onto Wondall Rd and turn left into millenium pl. The gateway passes over Wynnum rd so my suggestion for the gold coast people would be to get on the gateway, then take the wynnum rd exit, and turn right onto wynnum rd. If you hit the toll bridge you've gone too far!!!! Nismo 33, if your coming from the sunshine coast, jump on the gateway, go through the toll bridge and take the wynnum rd exit, turn left onto wynnum rd and follow onto manly rd and left at the roundabout after the servo. any dramas getting there my moby is 0401 669 900. cheers Jayson
  7. Well the car finally arrived in my driveway Thursday night after spending its first couple of weeks in oz in the importers back yard. It was absolutely filthy but i had a good lookin Trust intercooler sitting there that had to be thrown on ASAP! So went out to the shops, got myself some straight 2 1/2" piping, 2 x 45 degree bends and 1 90 degree bend and i also had an assortment of stock pipes. $78. Then got some hose clamps from Repco (8) for about $23, some rubber joiners from the local import yard and some heat resistant spray $15 plus $11. The piping still needs a bit of tidying up as the pipe which connects to the inlet side of the cooler isn't fitting properly and needs to be trimmed back a bit. Pics basically spell out the rest. The laurel is white with a blue pearl. It looked a million bucks once i washed and polished it.
  8. lookin good mate, as jaik said, dump dump dump!!
  9. Riverside, the laurel has a pearl through it. I only got the car home thursday night and since then i've fitted a front mount and installed piping, today is my chance to pull it out of the garage and give it a wash and a polish. I'll take a snip of it and see if the pearl comes out on the digital camera. Inark :theres actually quite a few around... id say it cant be that hard to cconvert them over.... but who wants a laurel front on a ceffy?? why trade down? Grrrr, trade down??? How do you figure that. Once the car is tidied up i'll take a few snips and you tell me if you really think its a trade down!!! :fart:
  10. Im just wanting to know if the early silver top rb20det's coil packs have the same voltage and ampage as the later model silver top rb20det coil packs. I have the onevia with a late model 32 engine in it, and the laurel. The laurel's engine differs in a couple of ways, ignitor pack different, afm diff, coil pack plugs diff, cas diff. I want to put my F.E.T high capacity coil packs in the laurel so i will need to cut and solder them as the plugs are different. But i want to make sure they all pump the same voltage and receive the same current etc so i don't wreck anything. cheers Jayson :spcartman
  11. must be li,ke the s13's with the same guard holes etc and fronts. hmmmm, i need it to match my onevia. Anyone wanna swap fronts?? Won't swap unless it's white as well, i've been down the path of painting and don't wanna even think about it again!!!

Just send me a pm if your a definate and remember it's 40 prepaid, 50 on the day. The dyno king can't win the most power per cubic inch class so that way the one person can't claim both the prizes and doesn't leave the challenge out of the question to the average joe!! Cheers guys get back to me asap melv as im updating the list shortly.

I have just been over to millenium motor sports to work out how this is gunna work. it will start at 9 so can you get there at 8:30 so we can organise things a bit better. once you arrive we will give you a card with a number on it. once that number appears on the screen we will get you to bring your car up to the dyno, there will be a projector which will show power etc so we have some things to look at.
  14. Check it out fellas, a cefiro with a laurel front???? Or am i just seeing things??? Who wants to swap? I reckon it would be close to a direct bolt on almost!!! Looky /
  15. give stz a call on 3630 4455. I know they have a couple of doors and stuff there so you might be in luck. Say you know jayson and he should look after you on price. cheers jayson
  16. yep!!! The laurel's front bar is a easy/quick removal so that's what i'll be doing. From when i took the onevia to one of the drift days we had here.... I had temp issues, which sorta really sucked, cleaned up a set or 15" snow tyres then drove home afterwards, but serviced the car a couple of days later.
  17. at one of our drift days a stock suspension s14 has been shaming out a fair few drivers, but you should see the bloody body roll!!!!!

update, win a walbro 255l/h fuel pump for most power per cubic inch or dyno king worth 180 bucks from import bitz!!
  20. lol, well i've worked since i was 16, then took out a loan to buy an NA silvia, extended it for an rb20det conversion and 18's, then with the laurel i extended a little bit more, sold my old commonwhore and now i have a laurel and a rb20det silvia/onevia, owe about 14k though but once the onevia is painted and sold i should be clean, which means, go crazy on the laurel time.
  21. haha, you knob!!!! I was going to ask if you still had your inner guard liners, (the plastic things). The laurel has long wheel studs on it already which is good but im not a fan of spacers, but i think i will be getting the fronts rolled as it's mightly close all round.
