hehe, he does have a point tho!!!
-
yeah thats what i was worried about. There is a red/maroon r33 getting round on some of the drift days in qld that has had it done. I'll have to ask him next time if he's checked if all cylinders were getting enough flow.
-
bahahaham funny stuff. A fair few months back we went drifting in an industrial estate in brissie. We had been hitting this truck turn around (hairpin) all night. I got a tad ****y, came out of it and kept trying to go from side to side up the street, ended up in a ditch on the side of the road. Cops came and i said, my car broke down and i forgot to put my handbrake on and it rolled down the hill. He tried the "you can tell me mate, i am a car enthusiast as well, except i like v8's" I kept to my word and we got our names recorded and I was left to feel sorry for myself in peace!!!!! Funny stuff!!! But my poor lil onevia need a bit of cosmetic work after that! lol, still needs some

Mase replied to someonestolecc's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
ahhh, i was right. I thought it was your old car meggala. Lookin good. -
I've seen it on a few cars lately and it had me thinking about it. But i was a little concerned that all cylinders wouldn't be getting enough.

Clutch slave cylinder help
Mase replied to Mase's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Man, what is it with the threads i post. Nobody has any idea. Nobody knew about the coil packs i asked about last thread i made in here. Grrrrr -
Ok, the clutch slave has gone on my gearbox and is leaking fluid. Conventry or repco have no idea and don't stock it. Nissan says it might know the one, but it needs a vin number of the car to confirm. Now i have a late model rb20det in my silvia, so therefore i don't have a vin number of a 32. Can anyone give me a place which they can source these from, or a part number or something as i need my car as it's my daily driver to work and back. thanks Jayson

OMG, the breaks on that 'Speak' M3 or whatever it was.........
-
yeah what meggala said, they are the same. You should find most of your ceffy suspension stuff will come from the s13.
-
like a few people have asked above, what was the car beside you??? Good run by the way!!! I want to see what melv's GTR can do as well.

quick question about wheel sizes on cefs
Mase replied to kursed's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
i've got 18 x 8's on the rear i think, 265 wide tyres, guards not rolled. Offset may be 35, but not 100% sure on that. This is on the laurel, doubt it would be much different. -
1400 kgs, but thats the bombed out model witht he leather seats etc. My boot is gutted and i have skyline seats in the front so i'd say about 1350 on mine itself. My front bar will be copied but not for a little while yet. Even still, its not a very attractive front bar really but it does the job. You can buy something in Japan and have it shipped over also. Anything can be drifted, just depends on the driver really. The laurels are being drifted in japan, and there are starting to be a few round in oz on the tracks now, so it can be drifted, which is what i have planned for mine. Compliance prices depend on where you go, abotu 1k.
-
what abotu if a piece of this thing breaks off??? eyyy, didn't think of that!!! I'm gonna remove it when i get the chance, stage 1 weight reduction!
-
good to hear adrian!!! Should be a beast when finished. I took a lot of stuff off the onevia and put it on the laurel, maybe you could just downgrade the 180 like going back to four stud by swapping all the stuff over between the 180 and the laurel and making the laurel five stud with the GTR wheels??? Im currently throwing up ideas between turbos atm, whether to use the rb25 item in the onevia, and just swap them straight over, or go something much bigger. Don't let ADD influence you on paint colour choices if you go to paint it tho!!!

damn, send some of that shit this way!!! Pics would be good!!!!

Help! Looking for cefiro part help.
Mase replied to someonestolecc's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
s13 stuff fits because the car is basically an s13 suspension and brake setup, and a r32 driveline setup. r32 and s13 'rear' suspension is the same. daveo i'd say you'll need an s13 one mate. When you blokes ask for a silvia part, make sure you mention the s13 stuff, as remember the 200sx is also classified as a silvia which runs up to 2002 or 2003 or something like that. cheers -
This is how we do it in Sweden!
Mase replied to Skyracer [SE]'s topic in General Automotive Discussion
In australia, we don't take pictures of women in front of our cars, we take pictures of them in our back seat. Except we aren't allowed to post them up here im told. -
yeah im pretty sure my laurel had this, i haven't touched it yet tho. its in the intake pipe
-
in just threw some r32 front discs and callipers on with the discs redrilled to four stud.(this is with the laurel, same deal as the ceffy) Take note you will need wheels with a big enough offset or spacers. Luckily the 18's clear the callipers no problems. My discs are getting a little tired tho so i might go for slotted but get them drilled for 4 x 114.3 rather than go full five stud etc. Its a cheap and easy way to get out of it, if you have wheels which are 4 and 5 stud compatable.

Come on peeps, we gotta get a few more laurel owners on here. This place is swarming with ceffy owners. Im dissapointed you are selling your laurel meggala!! Who else is gonna help me terrorise the cefiro owners!!! Threw my wheels on the car yesterday, covered in dirt from head to toe but i think it was worth it........
-
im glad i bought a laurel rather than a cefiro TAXI !!! hehe, should stir you ceffy owners up!!
-
$1000 dollars it will be for me. A mate's silvia was 700 to 800, the laurel has two extra doors so yeah. John from import bitz did break down the parts listing, think it went something like intrusion bars, unleaded neck filler, child restraint points, changing the mirror from convex to flat or something.
-
Hey mate, the laurel is 89. I will get some pics of it this weekend. The differences i can see between my rb20det and the laurel's Turbo outlet pipe is a slightly different shape, cas are different, laurel's has a mitsubishi triangle like thing on it, coil pack plugs are different, ignitor plugs and the pack itself is slightly different, afm plug is also different. I'll see if i can suss out anymore info. oh also, it doesn't have a stock bov either, which i was surprised to find.

i think a lot of peoples opinions are biast because they drive a skyline. That car to me, looks great and i can see the enormous amount of effort that has been put into it. I don't understand why they would leave it non turbo tough. I am not from the ACT but i have seen pics of this car out on a cruise which was loaded up onto the net and i loved it then. I'd love to see peoples reactions if it was a 32,33, or 34 with a very similar front bar. I do agree it isn't the best, but can't see how it justifies the car being crap. Great car, but needs to be turboed. Stupid car for your first car.
