i installed my blitz ebc and it keeps wanting to not hold boost and go sky high, im hoping that the vacuum lines are just leaking.

the bottom hose is just a waste hose isn't it? therefore u shouldn't need to be too picky on where u put it??

Unfortunately after speaking to the supplier who owns a gtr we found the shifters didn't make a noticeable enough difference to justify the money unfortunately.

same with my rb20det onevia. It's good to know it's a general problem and nothing serious

putting washers under the bonnet is fine just as long as it doesn't raise the bonnet higher than the little catch hook that is designed to catch the bonnet in an accident. So take it as high as that and your set. I've got an rb20det in my silvia/onevia. It's a must for getting the ridiculous higher temps out from the engine bay considering it isn't breathing as easily compared to being in the r32.

$240 for rb20 rwd, rb30 ca18, sr20 $260 for rb25 rwd. Did have them down for GTR's but I'm not 100% sure on whether it makes that much improvement on the original shifter. Well not enought to justify spending $260 bucks. Genuine is $395 new. Exact same quality, but the packaging is different. I've sold 6 already and only need to sell 4 more. It japan it was, it has been bought over here and complied but no rego has been put on it yet. There is a dent behind the passengers door, the back hatch needs some tidying up, the front bumper needs to be resprayed white and it needs a good polish and vacuum.

a gudgeon pin is what holds the piston onto the rods. I'd just rip your old engine out, replace the gudgeon pin and maybe do a few extras like put some forged pistons in and maybe some new rings and bearings while it is out. The bores are generally pretty good in the rb's i think. If not then bore it out a bit more or why not even stroke it like suggested above. You are gonna spend a lot of time and effort on sorting otu the wiring when a similar amount can be spent rebuilding your old engine to be like new. It might just need the gudgeon pin replaced and that's it??? But with it knocking it may need a bit of work.
