  2. Item Summary: Work Emotion CR Kai's white F:17x9 +17 R:18x9.5 +12 Location: QLD: Brisbane Condition: Used Reason for Selling: Too many rims Asking Price: 2000 Delivery Methods: PickUp Contact Info: 0401 669 900 Extra Information: I'm selling my CR Kai's in white. The rears have some federal 595's and have about 70-80% tread as well. 2 rims are like new, 2 have some light grazes. Price is $2000 Brisbane 0401 669 900 Jayson
  3. I'm selling a R33 GTST 5 speed gearbox for $600. It requires a new 4th gear synchro. Gearbox internals are able to be inspected and I can sell it assembled or disassembled. Gearbox came from my car and was crunchy when going into 4th gear. Wreckers are selling these gearboxes for up to $1500 in 2nd hand condition so if you give it an overhaul you'll have a brand new gearbox for the same money or less that wreckers are selling 2nd hand items. Pick up in Brisbane 0401 669 900 Thanks Jayson
  4. Thanks for that. The other gearbox had the washer still in place so I didn't really notice it. Thanks again.
  5. Got another one for you. I couldn't find this same washer in the other R33 box I have so i'm unsure of the location for this one.
  6. I'd be careful with the Dewalt one. I've got a Hitachi 18V 3amp impact driver with the 1/2" fitting on it. It's great for your general nuts and bolts but anything really tight it struggles with and isn't really designed for it. I usually just crack the tight ones with the breaker bar, then use the impact driver afterwards. It can crack about 75% of the work I do on the car though. It did smash all the gearbox bolts on the bellhousing with ease and lasts a couple of days work so I can't really complain. You'd be better off spending the extra money on the snap on one that is designed to do the job properly. EDIT: Just saw the DeWalt has a bit more torque than the Hitachi one so you should be right.
  7. Ok so it goes on the bottom left shaft in the photo with the bronze side facing towards the front of the box. Just wanted to confirm?
  8. Awesome. Thanks for your help. I've been trying to get my head around these things as it seems gearbox problems are an ongoing thing with the car. Thanks
  9. Thanks for the help. Picture is attached. Found it in the rear housing, but there's a possibility it may have fallen through from the front when dissasembling. I think it may be a thrust washer.
  10. I've been stuffing round with my R33 gearbox with custom bellhousing for my SR20DET. I have a random washer though that I can't work out where it came from. Does anybody have an exploded diagram similar to the one in this post? Even the user manual with a gearbox break down would be handy. Thanks
  11. Please note this will be sold fully assembled.
  12. I'm selling a RB25DET 5 speed. Box currently has the housings off and appears to be in good condition for its age. Will be re-assembled for sale. I'll upload a photo of the internals tomorrow when it's day light. Includes speed sensor with throw out fork and bearing. $1400 Brisbane 0401 669 900 Jayson
  13. That's just round the corner so might suss it out. Cheers noddy.
  14. Thanks mate, any others had the 5 speed rebuilt?
  15. I'm chasing some recommendations of workshops that have done a decent job at rebuilding a rb25 5 speeds in Brisbane. Mine is currently crunching synchro's and i'm looking at getting it rebuilt but some places seem to be useless with imports and/or the quality of work can be quite poor. Also an idea of the costs you outlayed to have yours rebuilt would be appreciated. Thanks Jayson
  16. Yeah I'm picking some up tomorrow, just about to do a search on oil capacity of the rb25 box.
  17. Couldn't tell you for sure, but if people can put a 5 speed behind there S15 SR20 then I can't see why not? Might need to change the tail shaft? The standard S15 6 speed isn't exactly a very strong box though.
  18. If people can run a RB20 bellhousing onto an SR box I cant see there being a problem. I havent used an RB20 bellhousing on an SR20 box before, just heard of other people doing it. I've been told the CA18, SR20 and RB20 boxes are very similar and bellhousings interchangable.
  19. I realise this topic is a month old but how did you go with the Castrol in your RB25DET gearbox? I found it very dissapointing but found it worked fine in my SR20DET 5 speed previously. On a mountain run with the RB25DET gearbox I can get 3rd,4th and 5th crunching once it heats up. Not game to head to the track with it.
  20. Haven't tried it but they're very similar and I wouldn't be surprised if it all fitted fine. Why not just buy a stuffed SR20 box, throw the gear set in and then chuck the rb20 bellhousing onto the sr20 box as they're interchangable. I just put a SR20 bellhousing onto a CA18 gearbox I had to use in my brother's SR20 180sx.
  21. I'm after a standard RB25DET gearbox mount in good conditon. Need it to work out which mounts are shaking my car to bits. Brisbane PM or 0401 669 900 Thanks Jayson
  22. Rims are back up for sale.... 5 x 114, all four rims are 17 x 9 +15 Rims are called Meister Series 2R's and built by Work. Good quality rims. Couple of minor scratches. Tyres are 90% Federal 595S 225 wide, rears are 50-60% 235 wide. Pictures of rims are attached as well as a picture of what they can look like on a r32 GTR seeing as i didn't have any shots on my car. Note these aren't my actual rims on the r32 and is simply provided so you can see how they look on a r32. $1350 Brisbane 0401 669 900 Cheers Jayson
