Actually, with this diff stuff. My car was originally an sr20de, it was fitted with an lsd but i think the ratio may have been different to the sr20det silvias. I find that doing 60klms i generally have it in 5th. What speed are you fellas with r32's generally going into 5th gear?

I've seen the sr20 put in a 32 before. Looked alright and you could fit a family of four in there as well. Heaps of room left in it. Yes they do tend to have it over us in the take off etc but i find on the freeway the rb's are king. I've got a silvia with an rb20det. I was hoping that with the drop of weight the lack of low down torque wouldn't be as bad in the s13. It goes well, but with the car being completely stock it definately has a lot left in it when you give it some. Will see if i can find that pic of the sr20 skyline.

was gonna go but i've been having problems with the conversion so the car won't be ready unfortunately.

they are fantastic wheels, if they had them in four stud for my sil i would of bought em. Would of gone well with the champaigne silver paint. Oh well.

As the topic says, need some 17" wheels for my silvia. I was after five studs but we redrilled the rotors. My 15's won't fit over the r32 brakes. GEt back to me asap on [email protected] Thanks

I'm still deciding on my exhaust and want to make sure it is one that makes a fair difference. I've been seeing a few cars making decent power with twin dump pipes off the turbo instead of one single 3" pipe. Does anybody have a setup which they have dyno testing to prove a recommendable amount of increase in power to their rb20det. Could you please list your setup for me? I don't wnat to make a big mistake and buy an exhaust only to not fully utilise the power of my car. Thanks

PS. There are two vn convertibles on the coast by the way and the statesmans and grange's make great wedding cars so i think they are just as good as each other. they both fault and exceed in different aspects.

I'm after some wheels for my silvia with r32 gtst brakes. So this means i'll be after skyline wheels. Was thinking of buying just the stock s14 wheels with tyres just to get me thru till i get some decent cash together but if anyone has a 17" package under 1k i would be interested. Can't remember whether it's advanti or avanti but i have these things on my sil at the moment. they are 15" wheels with 205 wide tyres on them. 2 month old toyo's on the front and 60% federals on the back. $450. pics of wheels These wheels should fit the non turbo skylines with the 4 stud pattern. I found all these little lolly things in my ashtray. The one thing i like about going into the local importers all the time is seeing the things he gets in with his cars and front cuts. ie, what goodies you can find by surprise on a car or cut. Most of the time the stuff is taken off but i scored a blitz boost guage on my front cut and a turbo timer but unforunately no wiring loom so i left it. The boost guage is being put to good use. Also, when checking my car out etc we found out it had hks spark plugs in it. Cool.

for those of us who have had previous head units from japan they don't work naturally with australian radio. They usually need a chip or something put in them. Don't put peoples comments down if you don't know what your on about. I was genuinely asking a question as the colour matches the outside of my car and would be nice to have inside my car as it looks like a decent unit. Therefore i was genuinely interested in buying. I think i'll pass now however.

I take it that it doesn't pick up australian stations as it's from japan???

I haven't had any crap when i've come thru in the silvia but you get a few looks. Aspley maccas generally have people there every night but thursday nights are the biggest from about 8-10pm.
