leaking exhaust gasket.this is the sound it makes when it starts to leak or there is a crack in the exhaust

rev the car and turn it off at the same time .if ticking continues and slows to a holt after rpm have dropped it can be none other than your turbo if not it sounds like a exhaust leak. if you cannot hear the bov .is the fluttering noisr only happening when you rev then let the foot off.It sounds also like the vacuume hose tthe bov has come off somewhere and is not actuating it to open hense the fluttering noise as the air is chopped up by the turbo when it hits the closed throttle butterfly and is forced back through the turbo. But... is it a fluttering noise or a ticking noise.. fluttering=bov ticking=exhaust ticking with car off.=car bomb

i have enquired about hks head gasket around $800 here but never got reply.I want to get a fmic off them but if they dont reply they will lose business as well as get another mark against there name

yeah i am the same sort of guys...i find hitchikers and pull up between 60 - 80 metres away and wait till they pick all those big bags up and run to the car then i slow ly start to, roll away about the same speed as they are running....after bout 10 sec they register that i am moving and then start to run quicker so .... i speed up .After about 80-100 metres i beep and waive and take off .As mean as this is I manage to piss myself laughing for bout 2-3 minutes at the violence that is shown from these frustrated hitchikers and this helps me to under stand that ,yes these begging eyes and sad looking hitchikers are crazed animals.If they get really pissed off i will turn around and try it again on them.I mean if they are hitching lifts then surely they have come accross more of lifes obstacles than a smart arse in a hot looking r33 .choking on his own tongue laughing hysterically.To all hitchikers who may read this I SALUTE YOU!!

ok i snapped my exhaust cam in half just after 1st lobe.When charlies motors took the car they put a new cam in first and tryed to start and found that 2 bent valves and every other one was hit by piston so.....new head.The total cost is about$2300 with new head,x ray for new head and fitting and dyno tune .Car is ready in 1 1/2 weeks.I hope this helps.I dont know what u mean by the wheel wont even spin in 1st.I would get a compression guage used for testing cylinders and test each cylinder if all between 130-150 psi then all oil and compression rings ok.Therfore why a enging rebuild????But in my case if i damaged a piston it would have beeen cheaper to get a new motor put in.I hope this helps mate

try some wreckers .I know salsbury wrecking will help if no coleman tyre company.worst case get a ford au rim as a spare or if still rooted call a jap spare and get a skyline rim.

hhhhhmm. $30 each i think is a rip off.A iridium spark plug is a iridium spark plug.It creates a spark with whatever coil it is given.In my opinion any manufacturer making iridium plugs,obviously is making them for performance reasons.A spark plug with a diffrent name stamped on it will probably be just as good as the other irridium plug.I am at mt gravatt and i just replaced my plugs ngk irridiums and found that they wernt that old.I paid $20 each for irridiums BRAND NEW!! If going into a skyline that means u will pay 60 more just cos of the stamp.Spark plugs have two main components:ceramic insulator and a conductive core.Irridium is irridium.My thoughts anyway mate ,dont want to see u get shafted!!!

yes mate .turbo torque at archerfiel they are specialist and very switched on .There is an old fellow that work there cant think of his name but he is very cluey but not a salesman so he wont tell you bull.hope it helps. TURBO TORQUE
