These car's exist - they go by the alias of a race car. They turn heads, people assume (in my case incorrectly) they're fast.....only problem is, they lack alot of the creature comforts which make for a good road car. Ce la vie......

Thanks very much guy's. Whilst I love the c-red car, not my fathers style....he's after something more sleeperish/factory looking. Is there such a thing as living vicariously through your father?? -
All, My father is trying to decide on an older car to buy and play with and one car I've suggested is an imported KPCG-10 Skyline. However, I know not where to get one from, nor how much they are. I know these cars are rare as hens teeth and still popular in Japan but......does anyone know how much they go for an how you'd go about getting hold of one? Cheers

Wayne, Manual or auto? How many K's? Has to be manual, k's are out of interest. Presuming it is a manual: As I live in Canberra would you be interested in meeting me in Albury to have a look and if we decide to purchase we will give you a deposit (for which we will need a receipt) and then we will arrange to come and collect the car the following weekend. Hey, I'm after an indication on what sort of money people are paying to insure GTR's. I'm considering selling my race car and buying my dream car, but the NRMA seem to think that $3244 is a reasonable amount of money to charge for insurance. I can't justify that, so I'm wondering if anyone is paying much less than this. I'm 28. Cheers
