  3. my gtr did it, my 180sx did it for 2 years, the 180 im drivin now has massive "dose", my rx7 that i had also sounded like a vl turbo tututututututu... never had a problem.. but i assume that while it may cause damage to the turbo, its probably minimal.. unless ur running high boost.. might snap the wheel off the shaft lol ive heard of that happening b4
  4. looks like uve marked the right lines... but noticed the speed??? was it done in 3rd gear??? surely that cant be 4th gear... i think the dyno operators messed up ur run
  5. +1 180rwkw seems real low for that kinda boost n mods... u should make close to that with a completely stock gtr... :S

Geez, compressor surge while loaded up.. havent seen many of those on the dyno.. but its generally when the compressor wheel supplies more air than the engine can actually swallow which does happen... Bov wont fix it... ive read alot of articles on this sorta stuff, but havent ever put any into practice... i reckon try with lower boost settings, or change the turbo... Its generally because the inlet wont allow more air in, so it reverts back the other way n causes the flutter on load..
  7. if u dont wanna spend heaps of money just get TSD series... i installed a set into a accord euro.. the dude said he didnt want subs so.. In went the TSD1720Cs in the front and TSD6902R (6x9) into the rear.. the bass response was amazing, and the soft dome tweeters handle the highs so brilliantly... u really need to shop around and listen to different types of setups to get a better understanding.. then u can make an imformed desicion
  8. the one ive got in the shop atm is only for a 60mm guage from Trust.. ill get geno to check 2morrow for ya as ive got the day off But im sure that autometer make one to suit maybe the 2 inch one.. but not both.. 4in?? wtf is it?? Ill get back to u 2morrow

Theyre like defi's.. see them perfectly in the sunlight Theyre about as accurate as they come... id rather run Autometer myself as i do in my gtr, but the lastest drift guages are pretty awesome.. theres the black out series 2 guages out now which r a great improvement in visibility and accuracy over the last ones but they cost as much as autometer now, and the LED guages are over 200 bucks each... they look awesome thou hahah
  10. yer stock fuel pump should be fine.. im still running the stock fuel pump n injectors.. although @ near 300awkw.. they were startin to run real lean... so im gonna need new injectors or atleast a nice hike in fuel pressure...

  12. 6. Std pistons and Conrods 3 pistons with severly ceramic damage, rings destroyed on those.. conrods in perfect nick $100 for the lot
  13. it'll run fine.. -7s r like N1 turbos anyway the comp will be fine.. im running -10s with my stock comp.. but only on 7psi lol but still! and it runs it with 272deg cams in n out and plenty of other work... sure its been remapped b4 to run bigger turbos in japan, but they werent overly massive... just under 300kw on pretty much 16psi... The stock comp remap allows u to stay legal somewhat... u could always argue its stock

  16. most cars have a resonator box... but its part of the stock air box... u remove the stock air box and it makes the other box useless because theyre generally connected to the stock air box.. cant say ive seen one that wasnt connected to the stock box We've told u how to fix it dude.. there are no short cuts stock piping + stock bovs. put ur stock bovs on and see how that goes if that doesnt work then either live with it, or go stock piping

  21. Focal r in a league of their own... But alpine type r's... i wouldnt even waste my time on them.. i had a customer come into work lookin for them after listenin to his mates set... i should him the new pioneer TSD series splits which is the step below the SPL range, n they just shit on alpine... they go heaps lower in bass response and the high ends r so much clearer. Very natural sound speaker and for a retail price of only 400 bucks theyre a steal. Nothing from alpine even comes close to them, but focal.. thats a different story...
