the gauge could be faulty or you oil pump could be on the way out get it looked at asap and dont drive it if you oil pump goes say good bye to your engine.

yeh fuel pump mate mines more of a buzz noise

i did this the other week in my series 2 r33 it WAS.NOT.FUN. i ended up just clamping the pump onto the end of the cradle which i cut the end off and pushing the pump in as far as possible, the tank is an odd shape and the pumps diameter is too large. good luck is all i can say

now your thinking realistically just wait till you drive your car when it has 300+ horsepower itll keep you happy for a while if you want ill take you for a ride in mine, might help with your decision making..
