  2. you want 400 horsepower while still having stock suspension, breaks and internals i'd seriously look at doing at least the breaks if you want that much power you can get 350 horsepower from a low mount turbo setup easily, just need fuel pump, ecu and injectors my car makes 300 at the rear tyres and still has stock injectors you will spend a lot of money for a huge laggy turbo that will get your car defected as soon as your bonnet is popped open when you dont need to. and you havent mentioned what your want to do with the car. If its just for street use then your wasting your time, there is no need at all for that kind of setup for a street car you will do what you decide in the end but you will save a lot of money if you just put on a bigger low mont turbo that will bolt straight on in a day that will still make awesome power and will be good to drive on the street.

  5. ebay kits wont fit nicely will look half assed, its a skyline, do it right or dont bother doing it at all if you worry about money, then a skyline isnt the car for you

  17. the dump front will fit onto the exhaust housing of the turbo but i'd be very surprised if it lined up with the cat

  19. ahhhhhhh! that must be it, i tapped into the wrong power, i didnt know one only worked wen the lights are on, ill try find a different 12V supply cheers
  20. oh hai ok so i just installed my defi link control box and my boost gauge i used the power supply from behind my cigarette lighter and everything works when i turn the ignition on the gauge does its little start up thing then goes to zero then i start the car and it sits at around minus 20 BUT the gauge only works when i put my parkers or lights on doesnt do anything when my lights are off the gauge lights up when my lights are off, which i thought was a bit odd now on the back of the gauge there are 3 slots for wires, im only using one of them but i have an extra cable that fits into one of the slots and will plug into my defi link only problem is that the extra cable is about a foot long and wont reach can anyone shed some light please?
  21. even before i upgraded the turbo, running around on 12psi was enough power i just couldnt justify spending that much money on a car, which brad just mentioned, wont go up in value after all the mods converting is a much more expensive route for the same outcome also rhys, you will need to upgrade more than just the engine and brakes how long to you think a non turbo gearbox, drive train, diff etc will last with the extra torque of the 3 litre?
  22. just sell it and buy a gts-t its a big step up in power and will see you smiling for a long time trust me i did it and its really easy to get more power if you want it plus going from an n/a 33 to a worked 30det you will probably kill yourself

  24. do it yourself? i did my own, just make sure you spend the time preping the covers before you paint them
