i got a hicas lock bar, highly recommend it, best $80 spent imo.
you willl learn how your car handles in time
get some time in on a skid pan, its a great place to learn and its lots of fun too
even if a cop did suspect cams he couldnt prove it..
any internal modifications you will get away with
probably not worth it though, just save for a turbo car
^^ when you put the wheel on there are lots of little notches
you just have to keep taking it off going for a drive then parking with the wheels perfectly straight and trying again.
took me about 5 shots to get in perfectly straight.
my next r33 is gonna be black
look nice and stealth
i would go carbon fiber bits if you want to have different colours
breaks it up a bit but wont look and unfinished paint job
bonnet, boot/wing, b pillar garnishes, front lip etc
tyres for bigger rims are also a lot wider than your average mass produced 16 inch tyre.
performance tyres also use a softer compound rubber which is more grippy
cat backs from a turbo car will fit but aren't your best option as they are usually 3 inch in diameter and up which wont help you at all
manifolds and turbo dumps wont fit obviously.
its a lot of work and money for a stupid result
i know chi is selling an n/a rb25de engine for $500 with intake plenum and headers
would be much cheaper as you need to replace the pistons and gasket to bring the compression up on the det engine
and it would need to be tuned.. just not a good idea
