  1. woah this thread was a little while ago.. i made sure the battery was unplugged before i went about it..
  2. if you have the time and dollars to spend you can do what ever you like but there isnt going to be much in the way of a straight bolt-on kit for your application.
  3. i paid 153 for caltex 98 today.. where are united servos? i've never seen one..
  4. cant wait to show off my lack of HP
  5. that hole.. i cant find the words lol like he said a lot of smoothing out with a file ahead of you but the hose with the 90 degree bend is cool, i just got some flexible hose from bunnings but yours is better..
  6. i'd be up for showing off a nice bug spattered car.
  7. all i did was drill two holes either side of the inlet hole and wire tied the pipe in place i have a 400r front bar so there was all ready a round hole so i used that..
  8. if its matching tint you want why not just rip the japan stuff off and get it tinted again with the same stuff your using for the doors? tinting not only makes it look a lot better but keeps the car cooler as well, you'll wonder how you went with out it once you get it done
  9. its REALLY important that you get one thats designed for metal not wood i had a look at the one i had and thought it would do the job. no. it wont. made a mess of both the drill bit and the cut out went sweet once i got the right drill bit. oh and make sure you put some sort of filter over each end of the pipe (i used fly wire) because the inlet is really close to the ground in the front bar you get a lot of crap flying up there and thats not what you want..
  10. this is exactly what im after give us all a price..
  11. you could always grab a digital thermometer and mount the display somewhere but that wouldn't help your climate control at all.. but if you just want to know what the temperatures is..
  12. any place that sells mufflers should have them they are just a piece of pipe with a sort of round dish that bolt straight into the tip of your cannon muffler you could get the same effect by getting a flat bit of metal the same size as your muffler tip and drilling a hole in the middle of it. then stuff that into you exhaust..
  13. i have a silencer and all it does is make the exhaust note quieter and less aggressive/cool sounding it does not affect the power at all. so i drive with it out so it sounds better:)
  14. woah, sucks when innocent people are involved
  15. if you know your abs is working take your dash cluster out, then remove the abs light bulb no more annoying warning light..
  16. my bad, when i read your post the first time i thought you were training to be a security guard baha
  17. try one of those steering wheel locks that needs a key to undo or put a chain or something through your wheel? just like a bike lock but bigger? if your working in the shop near where its parked wont you hear your alarm? if you do, just put your security training to good use
  18. firstly try to eliminate all the easy problems first eg spark plugs and test the coils to see if that fixes it. if it is that then your lucky, if not then you'll have to go about replacing the more expensive bits. so try the easy bits first
  19. your not serious are you? baha a tank a week is pretty darn good, i get 500 km to one tank (55l in an r33 not 65) and if your thrashing it around half a tank in a night is very easy. i think drive your car for a while before you decide things are broken.. when i fill up my gauge will say on full till about 150 kms then suddenly drop to 3/4 full. same with my cousins and a few other people i have spoken to.
  20. oh thats ok then yeh the brushed aluminum does look the goods
