  1. haha not a ebay special. a mate of a mate worked for garret and done up 10 with dump pipe as a side project. ball bearing rated to 500hp i got the last one and all feedback has been positive.
  2. recently finished my build and went in for a tune. asked the mechanic to boost it to 17 psi as Ive been told by mates in the know" she be right" old mate mechanic only tuned it up to 14psi not recommending going any higher unless i really want to lol ok ive done: PWR FMIC Sard 555cc injectors Nismo fuel pump Apexi PFC Z32 AFM Spit Fire Coils Tomei Pon cams Custom Hiflow turbo (zorst side larger) Blitz EBC Ive got stock internals stock head gasket and i ran 235rwkw as 14psi. can i run 17psi with what i got? Yeah running very nice ans smove now turns out the wires came out on the 6th injector. i can do amazing things when i actually open my eyes. so now i wanna reset the PFC and do the cold start run again. do i just disconnect the battery and push the break or do i need to reset the PFC somehow????
  4. ok so i have now setup the PFC with thanks too Nathan (Room 42) for like an hour of his time injectors 66% latency .034 VG30 AFM From the menu did the 30min run a/c on ect. but it rough as guts and seems to me like its only running on 5 cylinders. gave it a little slow poke to 2000 rpm and there was no change up to 2000rpm. a mate sugested that it may be the AFM but i get a reading on the pfc PFC displays this : InjDuty 2 % IngTmng 17 deg Airflow 1415 mV Eng.Rev 890rpm BatVolt 14.2 Knock | Wtr Temp 48' also i had the injectors tested before i installed.
  5. yeah im scared now. lol think im just gonna tow it to my tuner. dont think i should drive it 500 ks anyway
  6. Would prefer the flat bed but tuner is about 500 ks away. will have a look a pauls faq for now

Hey Guys, Ive finaly finished putting together my build and now need to set the PFC so i can get it to the tune shop. ive never played with a PFC before and to be honest a little scard to touch the hand controller lol Ok its a R33 S2 GTSt and ive done: Z32 AFM Sard 555cc Injectors (denso 195500 2240) Hiflow stock turbo Tomi Pon cams Greddy Profec b boost controller (run 10psi atm) FMIC Any Help would be much appreciated Thanks, Dave

  11. yeah that spot on to what it was doing. so how do i drop the boost when 2 brand new boost valves wont regulate the boost?
  12. have bypassed it and i did go back to stock. yes its the right way. lol what would be causing the airflow cut?
  13. i put a turbosmart boost valve in 2 days ago. set it up and everything was fine. yesterday it started boosted like crazy no matter what i do with the vaule. Today i put in a replacement valve with a new one and same problem still. also when i give it a bit it sometimes cuts out for a split second giving the car a big jolt. can anyone give me any advice? im sure that its not the valve that the issue. thanks dazza
  14. was the motor cold? on my 33 i have bypassed the solenoid altogether. mine never had the top tube going to the solenoid ??? what i done was unplug the solenoid all together and run a tube from the intercooler piping to the actuator. hits 7psi by about 2200 rpm with a 3"split dump pipe

  19. yeah its the gasket just hope i haven't snapped bolts 5 and 6 anyone got a part number handy for a exhaust manifold gasket?
  20. I'm still waiting for my PFC to arrive and have been told its better to have a z32 afm if i was to wire it in on the stock ECU would it work or lean out?
  21. shes all stock its loudest on idle i think i think the best was to describe it would be a buzzing sound one of my mates reckons that it might be the zorst flange
  22. I think that maybe my turbo is on its last legs i have notice a kinda ticking sound coming from my turbo could it be something else or am i on trouble?
