well i just picked my car up from the panelshop thisarvo n the replacement headlight they put on is HID but the one they didnt replace is ye-olde compliance hack job so ill try n get some photos before i get a replacement light. dont own a camera so have ta try n get my mates one.

ive never even noticed if my button lights up. im guessing its a bulb. dont think it would be on a fuse all by itself so chances are if a fuse went you would have more than the 1 light out.

ive put these in my car http://www.eclipse-web.com/component/sc6500.html they have a mounting depth of 2 1/4 inches which is approx 57 mm. there was a fair bit of room to spare behind them so 65mm deep speakers should fit no worries. if not its quite simple to cut out a bit of mdf or similar to make a spacer. ive also pm'ed this to raps86

Definately getting one of the twin tip ones. my ex has one of the cannon ones on her 33. sounds as quiet if not quieter than stock exhaust when the valve is closed and nice clean louder note when open and you dont get that annoying drone on the highway either.

went n played golf at the course next to the plaza with some mates n lets just say they wont be letting us back anytime soon. wet grass + a carton of coronas that lasted 1 hour between 3 of us + golfcarts.

To cancel out the noise buy some ground loop isolators. although the fact that you only spent $60 on the wiring kit suggests poor quality cables so i would be looking at getting some good quality RCA's too. As for the amp if you plan on running a sub i recommend getting a headunit with sub out. (should be 3 pairs of RCA's in the back of headunit. 1pair front 1pair rear 1pair sub. if you only have 1pair it can all be run but wont sound as good and all balancing will have to be done on amp only balance on headunit would be left right.

im running RCA's to my eclipse 4ch amp and then using the preouts on that to run to my 2nd amp (boss P.O.S.) as you might tell ive got some of the good stuff and the headunit and boss are temp items. bass from headunit is rubbish as there is no sub out. if your amps dont have pre outs just buy a couple of RCA splitters (should be found no worries in car audio stores)

got one in my r34. sound quality is insanely crappy. get massive pop through the amps when i turns it on. screen goes jumpy every time i eject a cd. if you are expecting crappy quality (and you should for how much they are worth) then they are fine. i got one expecting it to be crappy but its just a temporary solution until i have the $2500 i need to build the carpc setup i want.
