You always hear mixed things but there is a 4wd dyno in Mackay and Bundaberg that don't touch Power FC's and it looks like I may have to go to brisbane, but I hear mixed things about tuners there...due to competition. Who do you recommend and how much for a 'sliughtly' modded vspec 2?

I had one of these years ago just so you could portably check air fuel ratio's basically on anything simply by clipping it in the exhaust tip. It might have been for a go kart actually..but it worked well. Anyone know of these stand alone units?

Sorry. I'm sort of confused. Wouldn't it be waaaaay easier to have a device to check air fuel ratio's without changing the factory setup which may affect the way it is tuned to start with. I always see tuners use simple ones you clip to the tail pipe and do an on the spot reading. Wouldn't a gte computer use the sensors for tuning. Why would I replace one just for a stand alone meter??

Do you clip these into your exhaust pipe tip?

Basically I put a power FC in my 34 GTR just to see if it works...and it does. When I put the standard computer back in the keys were now unsynced and I can't start the car, so I had to put the FC back in. Nissan here is useless and don't know how to recode the keys and I am 1000k's away from somewhere to tune the FC. I will get it tuned..probably Marchish. I have been told the main difference btween a factory ECU tune and a FC base map is mostly the timing as the fuel map is similar. Attached is screens from my FC. My car is a basic pod/exhaust car so can anyone compare their maps if they have a similar state of mods and see if there is anything I can change?
