holy crap! I thought for a minute you had to get from Haunted hills to Shep on sunday but then read more closely duh!
But really there is only one DECA in my mind
guages, sunroofs, brakes????? I bet gts4's also had different wheels, better check them cause nobody changes wheels......
You will never be truly sure until you see the driveshafts to the front hubs so may as well start there
1. Get a lift up with someone else, there's a total of 50 cars coming up probably all from melbourne, there may be a spare seat somewhere.
2. If you can navigate an online forum then you can operate a stopwatch.
Check out this restricted SR20. Stil makes ~200rwkw so it's not like they are gutless. Plus they will generally make more midrange because they pump heaps of boost into them for torque to compensate for the lack of top end. They then mate them to long diff ratios to compensate for the lack of revs.
Faxed this arvo,
Maybe this will be my Deca debut with a handbrake?
Could be Sileighty devastating or could just be embarrassing when I loop it a thousand times.
We got a great big convoy heading down friday night......We got a great big convoy , aint she a beautiful sight.....convoy!
There ya go! Saturday morning doesn't have the same ring to it.
entry list up
Mine entry seems to have gone missing, I hate when you know a fax may have gone to the wrong place with your credit card number on it......
Haha! Everybody has a bit on "inside Knowledge" that seems to conflict somebody else's. This is perfect and helps preserve the stig's identity.
I heard it was Greg the retired wiggle, he used to be the big red car driver
I had pretty much come to the conclusion that the australian stig was just one of the 2 presenters with racing experience. They surely don't have the budget to employ another whole person for something they are both capable of.
I think his name is John Bellfield? Bellman? Not sure but he's a nut case. I've seen him at a few MSCA sprint days and he drives the pants off that gtir. It's got tonnes of power with a huge turbo mounted out the side because it doesn't fit in between the radiater and engine.
He made the news a few years ago when he was trying to sell his army tank collection to the government for museums but they wouldn't give him enough cash so he ended up selling them to overseas buyers.
Go to G J drivelines in keysborough. I had one shortened and reconditioned with a different diff flange for about $200.
I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up same afternoon.
I downloaded every "get this" podcast off the mmm website before they took it down so I could reminisce. If either of you guys want a copy let me know. I whack them on cd's every now and then for a long drive. Classic radio!
If you listen to the "long way home" Ed cavalie still uses jokes he developed with Tony M. Like the odd reference to Rex hunt, jeff fenech and upskirting at the tennis!
Anybody know if the public can ever get on the big outdoor cart track in Port Melbourne beside the westgate bridge? I know they have proper race meets there etc but I thought they might do some days for the public?
Seems like a fairly unreliable way of doing it when I assume you have the car sitting in your driveway. Why can't you just look for yourself, if there's something you don't recognise take a pic and ask what it is.
