  1. Haha, nice meeting you. Nah he was too much of a snob to give autographs, but it's ok I kicked his tyre (don't tell him)
  2. HIGGINS!! the ADAM HIGGINS will be there!? THE KB laser twin carb specialist! and whats this about a Hitech car club? Only MR30's allowed, minimum two to enter. BTW I should be there around late lunch.
  3. Odd shouldn't be hard to do and the plastic quality is fine, I took mine to a plastic fabricator (actually called plastic fabricator) here in a industial area of Adelaide, they had no problem doing it no questions, but I didn't specify anything to him, he just knew It wouldn't be seen and he did it in white plastic. .... I only trimed the back/side edge of it which is black plastic and he plastic welded a white section in, I just wanted it to seal the unit, if It was a visible section I wouldn't have accepted it white. It cost $20 each from memory (so $40).
  4. Obviously not my car but looks exactly the same except the side stickers and wheels. The reo bar was already trimmed to fit the TK front bumper on, when I fitted my Blitz LM I had to trim the reo bar a little further to clear the IC end tanks. the front bar took quite of trimming around the IC, I removed the numberplate mount and fixed it on the drivers side of the bar. The indicators (well the other half you can't see) needed triming on the insides to clear the IC tanks, I then got the trimmed light plastic welded back up. I wanted to keep some of the middle bar (lol too many bars) going arcoss the IC, but it is trimmed down quite a lot. I also made some extra room for a coarse black aluminium grill as I personally like it to be a little discrete as well as protect it from larger stones. The lower return pipe does not pretrude below the bottom of the bumper. BTW I didn't need to relocate horns either, from memory I did remove them but then refitted them and bent the horn bracket alittle for more clearance.
  5. I run Tomei in tank pump also, stock injectors which will be replaced soon.
  6. I have a similar problem but I know for a fact it's not the cat. I can set 0.9 bar and it will hold that for a short while and will then drop off to about 0.6 bar like you, strangely I also made 204rwkw's. Also my turbo is very responsive and will raise boost very fast, untill higher RPM. I have checked the usual things like rubber intake pipe sucking in, wastegate pre-load (which I increased with no better sucess) now I am thinking maybe it is a restrictive exhaust. I have a 3inch stainless dump/front, 4 inch stainless catback though it has two mufflers and even with 204rwkw's the car is very quiet..... I was thinking of just dropping the exhaust at the cat for one run to see if the boost holds. I have also been told that maybe the stock Turbo is just running out of flow, maybe but hardly anyone else has that prob.
  7. I have the Blitz Dual solinoid EBC (spec R or whatever with the huge black solinoid unit), takes some time to get familiar with the ramp rate, ratio and what the knobs do but I am happy with it.
  8. I installed a Blitz LM awhile ago on my S1, great cooler. The most modifing I had to do was to my Tommy Kaira front bar otherwise it was a fairly straight fit. I got my Blitz LM from Autobarn as I talked to the boss and offered cash that evening, from memory I got it for $1100 or $1050 I forget exactly, I was happy with the price to get it straight away.
  9. Probably top out your stock AFM at around ~190rwkw's.
  10. Very well thank you (R33 GTS25t) besides the fact it is rapidly dropping off boost after roughly 5500rpm. Overwise great. 169.5rwkw's, nice one, not bad at all
  11. At a Nissan dealer..... Parts/service department.
  12. I am on the road quite a lot, I will keep an eye out. Good luck getting it back.
  13. I was at High tech dyno today fiddling with the fueling on the dyno as my tune was alittle too rich, just on idle chatter about various cars with one of the tuners, your atmo Nitrous+PFC subject came up and coincidentally I see the topic here today. Very interesting to say the least, good luck with everything
  14. The stock R33 plug is different, thats why you need the adapter plug. R33 has a 5 wire plug and Z32 has a 6 wire plug, although only 4 wires/pins are used.
  15. I had 255 Falkens on the rear and now have 255 Federals and I was suprised at how much more grippy the Federals are!
  16. I am having the opposite problem with my stock turbo (R33 S1), I set my boost controller to hold roughly 12psi but the boost drops off to 10 psi (4.5k+). Even if I have it set to 14psi initially it will still fall off to 10psi.
  17. With modification it fits fine, I can post a couple pics of my car when I get time (same front but fitted with a FMIC).
  18. I just used some velcro, cheap, easy, neat and no ugly mobile phone holder.
  19. You wont have any problem at all, it'll run fine (fuel reg will regulate pressure). After much research and pondering what pump I should install (040, 044, Walbro 255, Tomei kit etc) I came to the conclusion that the Tomei kit (has everything you need including new seal, clamps, harness, wiring etc) is well worth the $360 advertised in the classifieds of this forum. It was a easy direct install with no modifications.
  20. Have fun cutting away at your Tommy Kaira front bar to fit the FMIC in and modifing the indicator mounting bracket (and cut away and plastic weld some of the back of the indicator that is not seen in my case) good luck.
