i think it must be my bearings as everything else is fine i have checked everything might try swapping another stock turbo on and see if its better

bump need a perfect codition stock turbo or might swap my stuff for a stock turbo for an r33 gtst

ok thats not to good to hear tho i might try another turbo on mine now that i have found out that i have been driving around without a licence for the last 1 1/2 months even got a fine for front tyres to worn and they didnt even pick up that i didnt have a licence. til today when i was pulled over grrrr oh well looks like i now will have a fair bit of time to get my car sorta hope my problem is the same as yours

could coilpacks cause this sort of problem ??

lol yeah no boost leaks already have checked that put all new hoses clamps on will the bearings cause it to feel like the boost is barely coming on but still says it is on the boost gauge ? by the way mine is the stock turbo and its loud lol spools so loud but barely goes anywhere what causes the bearing to go ??

sorry i ment it started before i had the plenum modified and yes i can hear the turbo spooling up and no not that i can remember but when i spin it doesnt spin for very long like it spins but slows down and stops really quick (its still on the car by the way and its stock)

sorry for hijacking ur thread lol i have the same problem but mines in a r33 gtst series 1 its the same sorta problem you say it its tho mine only has a fmic, turbo back exhaust, high flow 3 inch cat, pod filter, exedy brass button clutch, also has a modified factory plenum that is front facing but the problem was there before i got the plenum modified turbosmart boost controller set at 10psi, feels like shit on boost but off boost drives good but its driving me insane i need help lol its like its a na but it still says its boost and feels it sorta but not as much as when i first brought it. when i brought it it felt quick like real quick boost came on really hard it would spin the wheels in first and second in the dry when coming on boost and in the wet it would spin 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th when coming on to boost in the wet but now it doesnt feel like its coming on at all but says it is lol

ok the intake side is not 10 oclock its more 9 oclock one tooth on the belt how do i fix that do i have to take the whole timing belt off EDIT ITS 2 TEETH

also how did that happen then could it of jumped a tooth or something ? is it a simple as just sliding the belt off then lining it back to the right stop and putting the belt back on ???

i dare say so maybe even a little bit more could that stuff it up much ?? and what i ment by laggy it more feels NA rather then turbo like it still has power but lack the push back in ur seat feeling lol but i can still hear the turbo spool and everything and there is no boost leaks
