Anyone Using Import 101?
dajackal replied to dajackal's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
I live in vic but know about import 101 just from browsing internet. their website seems to be quite informative, especially in breaking down import cost. that's y i want to find out more about them from anyone who has experience dealing with them. Seems like they are a good choice -
Anyone Using Import 101?
dajackal replied to dajackal's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
Thanks. I spoke to one guy there and he sounded alright. if i were to import one, i'm thinking of using either import 101 or j-spec. a lot of ppl seem to have good review of j-spec. -

9 Sec. Gtr Race/street Car
dajackal replied to Swiper the Fox's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
In the market for a mildly modified (close to standard) 32 gt-r at the moment. One time i was at Borders and saw this magazine with dvd. Looked the back of it and saw an r32 gt-r. Ok I said to myself i'm gonna buy and go home and watch it. So there I was sitting on my sofa watching this gt-r. "Wow nice. Fast!" i said . About low mount turbos, i have no idea at all heheh . I'm kinda newbie to this. "What a lucky man to have this kind of car" i remember saying that again... and the fact that you built it from scratch with all the time and effort spent is even better. i can understand why it makes it feels like family. Heheh and now i'm talking to you ... So i can repeat myself again, and this time in front of this laptop to you: "You are lucky mate" . hundreds - and maybe more - of us can only dream of having 32 gt-r like urs . Just wanna say Good luck with it. All the best with the new business too! We are all waiting to hear from (and watch more DVDs of) an even more improved Twoogle in the future -

I bought a car magazine with dvd coming with it. i saw this "twoogle" gt-r there for the first time. beautiful car. all the best with the car. this car will always put smile on its owner's face -
Hi, A gt-r newbie needs some help here please. Wondering where to get original items for r32 gt-r interior dasboard. For example, the original steering wheel, gear knob, etc. Thanks in advance

1990 R32 Gtr For Sale...
dajackal replied to JonesyGTR's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Maybe you should include interior pics as well? I am in the market for 32 gtr as well. I have actually been looking at your ads for the last 2 weeks or so in carsales. looks very nice and clean outside. but would be better and can convince people to call you if you can provide a proof of clean interior and engine bay as well. just to help that's all. -
Importers We Trust
dajackal replied to -FIGJAM-'s topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
Who are the importers in VIC that are reliable? Any suggestion? Consider importing r32 gt-r. Thanks. -
i apologize if it is such a basic question .. i have been looking at some ads .. and found out that some 32 gtr's don't have the "nissan" sign on the left side of the boot above the left tail lights? is it because they re-paint the car and take that "nissan" sign off?

Sorry I have been really busy lately and forgot to reply your comments. I would just like to thank you guys for all the advice and inputs for me . you guys have been really helpful . really nice to talk with all of you! i will try to shop around probably early next year and we'll see how it goes. keep you guys posted! cheers and wish me luck

I see. because everytime i asked ppl that's what they said. "don't.. better get r33", "the maintenance is too high and difficult", "for the amount of money you better get r33", and the likes .. i think it's true. they have valid points. some of my friends also own 33. but somehow my eyes are so glued to gtr 32 hehehe... also what you mean civic is more expensive to own?
-
thanks. that gives me hope . is yours 32 gt-r too? i drove last sat on burwood hwy, in melbourne btw, saw 1 behind me. grey colour with large gold rim i think. what a beautiful car.
-
Minko, i will keep that in mind. cheers mate.
-
hahaha i would exactly do the same thing ... really! i am a fanatic. but gotta find a clean or as clean as possible ... if it causes me too much trouble later i am afraid i will have to sell it again because like u said, they are not cheap to repair
-

that is what i want to find. just a near stock one. i don't want a heavily modified gtr. i am not much into speed. the reason i love r32 gt-r is just ... dunno i just like it . there is something about the design that just catches my attention all the time. cant stop thinking of it . i will look around. and like you said, when i find one, you can bet on it: i will definitely look after it! thanks djr81.

I am in melbourne. For your: 1st point: that is exactly what my plan is if i get one . just for weekend or once in a while driving. i agree with you it makes the car special to drive like that 2nd point: i will check whether they operate in melbourne. not really sure. last point "hope this helps" ... yes it helps me. thanks very much smurf. appreciate it

my budget for purchase is around $25,000 - $28,000. about maintenance costs, i have read and calculated around at least $5,000/year including insurance (at least?) i don't mind and ok with them, it's just that i still question whether it is really worth the effort to do it because i won't use it regularly. well ... i realise that that might be the price to pay to have one ... either for daily use or not
