  1. FFS, oh well i have a silver skyline so i'll be right
  2. Well a smaller turbo would help, but i doubt less top end power is what you want. A good tune with that exhaust cam gear will make it alot more torquey though so see if thats enough for you.
  3. Sounds like a air leak from somewhere, happened to me once, intercooler pipe came off. Just look around for a hose those loose or not tight, even pull of the pipes off and put water through them to see if leaks out.
  4. Hey all, my water pump belt is on the way out and ive purchased a new one, how can i remove the current belt? is there a tensioner i can release? OR is there a tutorial for this ? Cheers guys
  5. 12psi is fine as long as its taken care of which isn't hard to do.
  6. Hey all, I've seen heaps of very nicely built engines but with no air filter/s in them when they run on a dyno or even out and about, why do people do this?
  7. Get a really long and flexible thermometer and feed it to your dash. Done.
  8. There should be a tutorial for this in the section for it.
  9. Turbo life also depends on how its warmed up and down and serviced, so if you take REAL good care of it then 1 bar of boost should be acceptable if your desperate for the limit.
  10. Yer stock bov ftw.
  11. Yer you want the option of going back to plumb back, if the cops catch you running atmo then they are quite harsh about it. My friend is going to court about it.
  12. As long as you have one in QLD and its under the limit than its legal, i would assume it would be the same in VIC
  13. You reckon bosch makes a better belt? Are they more expensive/cheaper?
  14. Hello, my water pump belt is on the way out, i just want to replace it with the standard one again. Where can i go except genuine nissan for it? Cheers
  15. Sometimes like wheels, rotors can also stick to the axle. Do what noddle said and give it a gentle hit from a hammer.
  16. AAC stands for Auxiliary air control valve, its what keeps your engine running when not using any throttle. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Di...nd-t110431.html
  17. AAC valve clean?
  18. Please forgive my ignorance but what exactly do these do and how do they work?
  19. A good electronic boost controller will also help the spool up and the consistency of the boost
  20. Ok it must be connected somehow, i don't know how else a rotor would be held onto the axle. Got a pic?
  21. Rb25 smaller than vg30??? Two different things dude. Yer a collapsed cat converter can cause slower spool up, simple way to check is to take it off! Get your car on a hoist or some jacks and unbolt it (real easy like 4 bolts) If you can't see through it then your in trouble. Where there other mods involved to get it spooling that fast on a rb20? Like an exhaust cam gear?
