  1. Hey all, For sale is my Turbosmart BOV dual port (I dont know why they call it a dual port its only plumb back).   2. Help i feel so noob, i cant get the first circlip out!!! I spent an hr and a half trying everything i could think of and no luck... Perhaps try a better set of pliers? Or is there a trick to it i havent understood??? Please help im really keen to start short shifting!

Oh and my latest mod... hmm been a while but my tein suspension from fulcrum was about 2300 with installation and tuning, not a terrible deal but probs cheaper going through Slide for the parts then paying Fulcrum for the labor. My next purchase is a replacement heavy duty clutch, can get them for 380ish from Slide. Then i want a C's short Shifter, they go for about 300ish i think. Then i want dba 4000 slotted rotors. Then i want... Ah the list will never end

  5. Its done nothing but increase the price of them, since Nissan did not manufacture many of them there is a big shortage for the new P-plate market. There are non-turbo's selling for more than turbos in similiar condition and k's. Great for people who are selling, bad luck for people buying.
  6. You could do ecu or piggy back, suspension, clutch. Usually with more power the car becomes more and more obvious, ie exhaust sound, turbo whoosh, engine roar. So your choices are very limited.
  7. Does anybody know of any places in brisbane that are like flat abandoned industrial estates with gravel roads??? Somewhere like this seems like the only place where one could really have some fun.

  9. How can one help prevent coil pack wear and tear? I understand that everything one day must die but are there ways to keep them good? Atm i have the coil pack cover removed to keep them ventilated.

  13. If i went to my mechanic and told him to clean the acc valve on my car would he know what im talking about and how to do it? I tried doing it myself and could not get the third bolt out, too much stuff in the engine bay to turn my spanner...
  14. Yep, i have mine set to 6900 rpm. I believe its in the setting menu and then rev/idle or something. All you do is keep pressing up or down on how many revs you want it to limit to, very easy. Some people set it to 3000 rpm when they give they're cars to a mechanic for a service so they don't go thrash it.
  15. Also if you put the same clutch in that you already have (replace) does it still need machining?
  16. I am also interested in this, a friend of mine says don't bother machining just replace your flywheel. What is cheaper??
  17. What if you have removed the coil pack cover? I have heard that water on them is very bad...
  18. Hey all, my car is occasionally spluttering around under low load, driving me insane. A friend said it was my coil pack loom cable thats dying, anyone else experienced this? If it is my loom where can i get a new cable and how much? Or should i just upgrade coil packs while i'm at it? Thanks!

  20. I talked to a guy once who has a 32 gtr with two of the ebay monsta power turbos. He has had it on his car for 1 year now and has had no trouble with it what so ever. Can't remember what power he ran but he sure was happy with the value.
  21. How much does a standard RB26 throttle body and plenum go for?
  22. A friend suggested it is my loom, i had a look at it and fiddled a little bit and now it is fine. I will probably need a new loom soon though, where can i get a new one?
  23. Hey, On light load my car splutters and hesitates at any rpm. On heavy load it seems to be fine. I was thinking fuel pump is dying (stock one) but now i'm leaning towards a loose intercooler pipe or some sort of leek. Power Fc isn't reporting any knocking or other trouble. Thanks!
  24. Done and satisfied! The rear ones were tricky, i first tried to take the rear seat out but i didnt have much luck with and ended up lifting the parcel shelf out and squeezing my arm in.
  25. Hey all, I'm pretty sure you twist the knob on the top of the suspension but how do you know when you have reached the hardest or softest? Simply by driving? Will it stop turning once you have reached the threshold? Thanks!
