  1. I would have to agree with you.... I have been watching the price of oil since it hit its record high $147 P/B, and its only gone down since then. Funny enough, our petrol prices are still up there, like you pointed out. I think the price of fuel has to fall more, it just cant stay this high for no apparent reason? My best bet would be that oil companies are out there to empty our pockets while they can, and get away with it. Oh by the way, oil is at $109 a barrel and I post this..... There are 117.347765 Litres per barrel - so technically oil companies are buying it under $1 a litre, obviously there are government charges to be added ontop of that, but still we pay $1.40 ? Its not right
  2. I don't think you can really compare obtaining a pilots license to a drivers license. They are completely different things and require a whole new level of understanding. As for the ignorance factor - Why would most people care about such things? The "majority" of people use their cars to get from A to B and don't really want to know. I know for one that I'd probably be the only one out of my friends who would think of such things, let alone try factor for them?
  3. Used to happen in my 32 all the time, It's just one of those common random things that happen to skylines
  4. I'd do the same... using what you have and spending more on supporting mods to get your HP aim would more economical, but if money is no object, then get a 26 and do what Brockaz said If you do however go with the rb20, get it looked at just to make sure it isn't going to die anytime soon, but even then, they can take a flogging and dont cost anywhere near as much to replace as an RB25/26 Good luck
  5. Is there anything wrong with your RB20 ?
  6. They do ask where the car is parked overnight in insurance quotes. This might have a part to play in the price, try doing an online quote through Justcar and see if you changing suburbs makes a differance?
  7. It's all got to do with speeding fines, and other factors which will influence the price and excess... Insurance is based on risk to put it very simply, so the more risk you are... the more you pay
  8. The only problem with Justcar is that your exccess is HUGE... So if your going to crash write it off
  9. Justcar Insurance. Use the search tool and im sure you will find some threads !
  10. Would that affect my hazards? My hazards do work though... so im guessing its probably the stalk.. Would anyone know if getting the stalk fixed is a big job / expensive?
  11. So that being the actual indicator stick thing ?
  12. Hey all, I've had a really weird problem just happen to me. My indicators in my car will not work when I go to indicate... My hazards work when i turn them on (All 4 at once), but when i got to turn a corner and indicate for instance, no sir, NOTHING happens at all. No noise, no lights, nothing ! I have had a look at my lights, they are fine and all work. I'm hoping its just a resistor or something like that, but I have no idea which one it would be or how to fix it, as all the writing is in Japanese ! If any of you could give me any help at all, it would be greatly appreciated ! p.s I did do a forum search and nothing came up.. Thanks. R32 btw
  13. Levinet - Did Joel actually import the car for you, or just buy a car from a private seller in NSW ? I'm very interested in buying a car from over east, as It looks a lot cheaper than buying one here. Cheers !
