  1. Honestly it all sounds like a hollywood wankfest to me.This technique is what I use when I drive a non synchro heavy vehicle ( Crash box )...But as even most late model trucks are going Synchro also its not something I have done in a long time..As for a performance application I fail to see any merit in it ( unless you like to wear out transmissions from the grinds )...Pressing the clutch pedal is the slowest part of a typical gearshift...So why do it twice ? I would be up the road chirping 2nd while your still stuffing around pressing the clutch ....waste of time...Synchros are there for a reason
  2. exactly what I wanted to say...!!! I used to love supras until the day came when I actually sat in one.Me being 6ft tall i had the drivers seat pressed against the joke of a backseat. And even then I just couldnt believe how such a big car can be so small inside..Honda Integras have more interior room FFS.
  3. Could it possibly be your inlet pipe sucking closed ? No blockage on the filter/airbox ? ...I would be more than willing to bet its your inlet pipe sucking closed under the load.
  4. Yeah I think she should be jailed and banned from driving for life. Ok so she went through some trauma regarding the loss of her husband....?? So how does this justify the crime that has happened...? Its just a Bullsh#t excuse that was more than likely encouraged by her defence attorney knowing it would get her off the hook.Sorry but when I did my L's the speedo never went over 50 kmh and around corners..? like walking speed almost...Before you criticise my opinion please remember back to the days when you were first on your L plates and remember how slowly and cautiously you drove..Throw her in the slammer and cancel the instructors licence
  5. mate sounds like a brilliant idea, coupled with the magnetic sump plug...Specially on a brand new engine...
  6. what part of Sydney you in ?
  7. thought about being a bus driver for State Transit ? They are short of staff and you will easily make that money and more...They will get you the appropriate heavy vehicle licence at their expense..Its pretty good for a perve too..stress free also
  8. 220 pounds is a good start...But if ( I hope ) they release an N1 version I would want to see a bit more weight than that out of it.Fully gutted...Carbon kevlar race buckets...Carbon panels, titanium exhaust etc
  9. much what I was thinking. When you drive a skyline the amount of attention you get from Schoolboy warriors is unbelievable..Dont take the McDonalds comment to heart though as when i sold my skyline I must have had 3 or 4 guys about your age all working for McDonalds wanting to " test Drive " it..But hey doing Army time would have built up your cash...Be prepared to blow it all with the insane insurance quotes your gonna get being 19
  10. bet hes into doggy style
  11. A 19 yr old wanting to buy an R34 GTR....????Since when does working at McDonalds pay that sort of cash...?
  12. geez I totally shonkied up one Commodore I used to own.just put a baseball bat on the tyre and got a friend to gently drive the car forward bit by bit....I didnt give a shit about the car as it was a hack...but surprisingly it turned out awesome....but I wouldnt recommend it to a skyline
  13. You serious dude ??? I wouldnt do the whole lights thing as it would more than likely be highly illegal...But just the radar....post pics of it if you really got it...i would love to see
  14. ohh my god that is the shitest looking Supra my eyes have ever seen....What the hell was he thinking ( he wasnt thinking or pissed drunk )...God its an eyesore....The only good looking supras I have ever seen keep the standard bodywork but with tough race type wheels and lowered...These kits are the cats ass.....yuck

    Sam Kekovich

Ha exactly what I was thinking
  16. wow ...I might make up a dummy radar and stick on my car and see who I can freak out....might be fun
  17. Well i dont really agree with you on that one, I mean VE is now up to 1800 kg + Whats the latest sedans from japland weigh in at ? Not bagging the commo but 1800 kg is near toyota landcruiser weight...surely they must find a way to bring it back to 1500 - 1600 kg
  18. I understand what you are saying regarding the equipment they come with now will increase weight some what...But I refer to the general size of the car....they are bloody enormous..!! Falcons also..Park one next to a VL or VN and you will see what I mean. Surely they could have made the physical dimensions of the car a little smaller....Not rubbishing the car at all ...local manufacturers really need to consider downsizing...A good look at Corolla sales compared to years gone by will give you some idea of where its all heading.US car manufacturers are in financial problems big time...while toyota and honda are killing in the sales...Now as for the weight of the the new GTR...yeah its heavy but I can always justify some of it on the all 4wd set up...look at the weight difference between a GTS and a GTR...quite a bit...But your right...shame it wasnt 150 kg lighter
  19. I sorta disagree with ya on that one.Guy with family of 5 would have had his fair share of experience with horsepower and may use it more responsibly..I would feel safer on the road with that person then the P plate moron in a performance car
  20. what put me off Holdens in general was the Fattening up they did.Commodores platform in the past was always a lighter car with big engine ( Hence the success in the 80's touring cars ) But ever since VN I feel they are heading in the wrong direction so I lost interest. Why the hell are they ( And Ford ) So damn big and heavy ? Has the Australian public fattened up so much that this extra size is required ? I remember years ago people were into WB Statesmans but I always thought they are a heavy luxo cruiser..But compared to now they are not so big and heavy anymore....Listen local manufacturers....Downsize..!!
  21. It would really depend on if you are sick of the skyline or not...I am sure its a good car..but very different..6 psi aint gonna be no rocket...looks like the pulley and snout had the change I did a few years ago...but I made 10 psi....Go for a drive ..think about it carefully, if you are after the luxury thing then maybe
  22. Well i love my skylines but whenever I see one of those early Brocks ( not often these days ) come past....it definately brings on a smile...VK Group A....drrrrrroool
  23. Correct me if I am wrong but that looks very much like the Supercharger that is fitted to the V6 Commodores...Eaton M90 I think.....
  24. best idea I have heard yet...At least you know what goes in, you can oversee all mods without some shonky billing you for parts that arent even there ( it happens ! )...and you can take your time about it , think about each modification step by step so your on top of it all
  25. JS auto electrical at annandale...They dont advertise much but you would be surprised how many big dollar racecars they worked on...Had a 70's Lamborghini in there a few months ago
