  1. See its comments like this that irritate me. Why insult the guy for ? He isnt an idiot. what he has done is bring forward a logical discussion of the engines true capacity- Something which is obviously in doubt. So far Gary's and your ( up until this point ) points have been great and educational.I dont recall gary heaping any insults onto the engine. And for the record I happen to think Rotaries are a great engine...More so suited to track work than say a daily work hack, But the fact is something " More " must be happening to be able to drink much more fuel than an equivalent 1.3 litre, Make obscenely high horsepower levels compared to an equivalent 1.3 And be able to support such a large Turbocharger relatively lag free compared to an equivalent 1.3 .....Fact is Rotors are a great engine- misunderstood by many however
  2. not condensation from having the air con on by any chance ? Is the water cool or warm to touch ?
  3. Dont you know that the whole car will simply explode into flames killing all occupants instantly if you remove it and go past 180 kmh ?
  4. ^ hmm now this is getting interesting
  5. Heh yeah I have to admit I do have a weakness for The land of goat sphincter rings food. Iskendar being my fave by far. But sadly I dont have it nowhere near as much as I crave it...You guys do make some good food and drinks....ahhh Ayran and Gazoz
  6. wow .,...really great read here.Nothing against Rotors personally, But I am forever hearing from the Rotor guys how Piston engines dont rev. And I love to reply that Rotor engines dont Rev. They kind of look at me with a weird look until I explain a few facts. Rotor engines have few or no parts that have to completely change direction. Whereas a piston engine, Both Rods and pistons have to completely change direction every stroke, As does valves. Yet they boast of 9000 rpm on worked motors when S2000's will spin to 9000 rpm off the showroom floor. Then I throw in the 18000 rpm Formula 1 engines....It does kind of make them sad
  7. I reckon you got a guage problem for sure, or the pickup is faulty.Have you had a look under the hood when the guage is reading so high ? Anything look glowing orange ? Is the heat coming out seem excessive compared to previously?
  8. The drawback , Most Rotaries Without forced induction struggle to make any sort of Torque. I mean they still will make good Horsepower, But Try having 3 heavy guys in the car and Power uphills in top gear......
  9. tidy looking Rolla ! Great mon-fri car...Paint job must be a respray...Nice car man
  10. Whenever I think of The land of goat sphincter rings the following thoughts come to mind Iskender + Pishmaniye = Yumm !!
  11. Howabout bodybuilding legend Ed Corney shown competing at the age of 64 ? That guy is simply immortal
  12. Yeah a PM for me also if you dont mind...
  13. Wow very impressive..! Natural ? As with those size arms I would be thinking a shot at the ANB would most likely bring home a trophy or two provided the rest of the physique is matching
  14. I would shop around all the Jap import wreckers as your colour is a factory one. Chances are somebody has a halfcut in that colour. Off with the old on with the new, Hopefully the paint matches up
  15. I would make sure your number plates are both off. I know that insurance investigators often go to trackdays armed with cameras to catch out somebody who has an incident so they cant make a claim
  16. They really only have rubber O rings in between all the fittings. I have replaced Air con parts in a corrolla.Pain in the ass that was. Other than that its the oil in the system as well that may need to be replenished
  17. Will keep an eye out here in Syd. As i am on road all day for work. I have seen a couple getting around that look very similar to yours so it aint gonna be easy.Should stand out like dogs balls with the plates however
  18. i can imagine it would be a pain in the ass. Compressor would be quite simple, But then you need a smaller serpentine belt. Condensor would also be a pain- Not sure how hard they are to get off skylines. If you can do it without having to remove the front bar etc then thats a bonus.
  19. 45mins for 2 bodyparts is a bit short I would say..That I agree with, 2 bodyparts, Depending on what time of the day.Quiet time 1 hr - 1 hr 15 is good- Busy time of the day best if you knock it over in 1.5 hrs or under. Not always do-able .But I generally keep training until I have completed my routine. Sometimes that can be anything from 1.5 - 1 hr 45. 18-19 inch arms impressive, I am going to take a guess that your not a real tall person correct ?
  20. Hmmm thats debatable...Take too long and your simply going to lose the pump. I mean certain bodyparts may need a bit more trime, eg Squats, Benchpress etc otherwise you just aint going to have the lift power. but other bodyparts like Biceps and Triceps i think you really dont want getting cold
  21. wow thats great! 40 or so minutes is really hauling Ass....Is that 2 bodyparts a day or just one ?
  22. Mate if tuned well the RB20 can handle quite a lot from its standard internals. I would suggest a 2530 . Just make sure its tuned well and smiles are to follow- as well as tyre marks !!
  23. I believe there was a period of time there a few months ago when quite a few people ( including myself ) filled up with a " Bad batch " - maybe ? . That being said its probably every bit as good these days as any other of its competition
  24. Mate , I do see your point ...i really do, However Gear or no gear there is no need to be training for so long. If you are training for more than 1.5 hrs then the effects are going to be cannibalistic.ie Look up overtraining-muscle Cannibalism. In other words you are going to be burning away muscle. If you have a look at quite a lot of the top Pro Bodybuilders are doing you will often find that a lot of them are adopting the high Intensity workout programs. ie look up Mike Mentzers High intensity training ( old school legend )...You will find that the trend here is less is more as far as time is concerned. Of course this form of training has its sceptics, But I guess its up to the individual to discover when they are fatigued Mate on another note , i am pretty concerned with you using Gear at such a young age, and with such a small amount of years training under your belt. i am not sure if you are aware but when on gear the muscle will grow and strengthen a lot faster than tendons/ligaments will. In fact I can think of 2 guys at my Gym right now who have both put themselves out for at least a year because they have torn muscles. Believe me it isnt some Body building magazine myth, It does happen and the effects are permanent. Expensive surgery can repair " some " of the damage but it nevers looks quite right again. I realise when you are young its easy to be impatient and want 10 years training results yesterday. It takes years of hard work. Something to consider if you want to be doing it for the long haul
  25. Sorry mate but time to correct you on some " ideas" that you have. Train harder than us natural guys ? You are really got to be kidding here. Fact is with us natural guys, If we dont put in the hard work-the gains just arent there full stop. I would really,Really love to see your idea of hard work. As very few from your age at most gyms dont even know the meaning of the word. Tried squatting with near 200kg on your back with a spotter pushing you well beyond your failing point to the point of Vomiting afterwards ? Been there done that. Not meaning to have a go at you or anything like that, But i have seen many young guys over the years with a similar outlook as yours. The "big" at any expense mentality. And I cant think of even one that lasted longer than 5 years. They all burnout until a new fad comes along
