My only problem with importing one is that I wont be able to drive or see it without paying the cash! Freaks me out a bit..

If they are getting the cars from interstate wont they have to go through the check at regency? Makes me wonder if they wait until its sold before they get that done as they dont have plates on them.....

I think the wire was the alarm light but the guy there didnt even know. I'm pretty sure the red switch was the boost controller, he also didnt know. Floor matts have white lines, but there were a few holes under them, and another one by the corner of the mat like it had rubbed through. You cant see the burn mark on the body kit in those photos as it is on the inner side.

Yeah I looked at the other one as well a month or two back! They had the same story about not having history. I didnt like the engine, was traces of oil leaks and wasnt as quiet as the other one. Couldnt tell me if it has done is 100,000kms service or anything at all. Its more expensive because they are selling it for another yard or something and they cant drop the price. Thats the last visit they will have from me.

Yeah I think there is something up. With KMS that low the interior should be immaculate, the wear on the steering wheel and gear knob was really bad and there were a few holes in the carpet under the drivers mat. Everything inside was more warn then mine. The engine sounded healthy and looked clean but it could have been replaced. Cant drive it to test the gearbox which is a pain! There was also a bit of the body kit burned/discoloured from the exhaust. My dad said it looks like a respray on it, and it only had one tyre guard which was a bit odd. I tried to get some history but all they say is they get them from interstate and there is a privacy request....

I went to look at a 34GT-T at Torque Motorsport on the weekend, ment to have done 64,000kms yet the interior was more warn then mine and i have done 109,000kms.... They wont give you any history either. Or let you drive it until you negotiate a deal, signing papers saying you will buy it subject to the test drive. Why the hell does there have to be so many dodgy Skylines around. Gives me the shits.

Ahhh Today my partner bought a VY SS Ute, my sister has a new VE SSV ute and now im itching to upgrade. I cant have the slowest car in the family. Ill give Skylines a bad name, I NEED A TURBO!!!!!!!!!!! Its sounds stupid but my family are very competitive. End rant.

I ended up changing to H2P. Paying $1,100 a year and covered for $23,000 IMO its much better then paying just cars the same amount and only getting covered for $14,000, and i noticed on my renewal they had dropped my agreed value without consulting me... Everyones case is different, I have very minimal mods so it works for me.
