Comments like this really f**k me off. I have a carport, not a shed. Anyway, the workshop I am talking about has knowledge of imports and a few young blokes working there and a shed I have seen light up at very late hours in the past. I am not pointing the finger, im just trying to give a possible lead to someone who has lost thier pride and joy. I doubt they have anything to do with it but someone may even try and sell the parts to them so it would be worth asking.

If it was for sale id definatly be sussing the people who came and looked at it. Although if its been in car shows then they could have sussed it there. I'll keep my eye out in Gawler but they would have to be pretty stupid to try and sell off parts there. Can I ask where it was found?... I have seen a particular workshop open sometimes really late in Gawler and there are a few young guys working there. I wouldnt dare point the finger but its an observation I have made.

Thanks for the info Steve, that's a bit closer then S&J I think. I want to try a few things before forking out workshop cash on something that's pretty insignificant, that said I will want it fixed eventually. I have only noticed it when I go to floor it and Its really brief, like talking split second only within the lag time.

I don't know if they have traction control?... Yeah I joined rexnet but havnt really played around there much. SAU is homeground haha. Where is Martin located?... The last few days Its seemed a bit better. I changed from V power to BP Ultimate. It's strange because it doesn't do it all the time.

I don't know about the soot but I can't see it when I'm driving. Do they just tune it or replace something?.. People always talk about knock sensors on WRXs, oh I have so much to learn becoming a Rexowna and the forums arnt half as helpful as here.

Nah I've had a turbo before (R32) and I know lag. Haha It's like a small hesitation/stutter in low revs when I try and boot it. Just before the boost. Sounds like I'll need to hook it up to some software. Might try injector cleaner first. Any recommendations?

Thanks :-) yeah random question, I like the education but also I have had a strange small hesitation when I go to take off fast, just before it hits boost and as soon as the turbo kicks in then it's all good. It doesn't do it all the time and it's minor but I heard it could be injectors. I may be imagining it but the last two days it seems to have stopped, but it feels I've lost some power....

Hey guys, What are the advantages of upgrading injectors and is it normally a big job? Cheers! Pen

I think its about time this happened. New drivers need to focus on learning the ropes of the roads and about handling a car in general. That diff did not allow you to change gears around a corner without sending you sideways, wouldnt have handled that so well straight off my Ls. (the person who bought it just got his licence, a week later he wrote it off, not sure if he was ok, we only got the phone call from the bank cos Finance we forgot about) Looks like my old R34 will now become hot property....
