My uncle runs a farm/vineyard in the yarra valley where we often go for a weekend away...
this week theyre filming a portion of Charlottes Web there... for 30 seconds of film it takes 1 week to shoot something like 120 people... 4 semi trailors and a lot of vans.
theyre bringing magpies and sheep (their farm is a cattle farm as well as a vineyard) to use in the shots which will only be for 30 seconds of film time
they have to cut some branches down (well get my uncle to) to get the trailors in and they said that for every branch he has to cut for them to get through theywill give him a slab
There will also be a 24 hour food caravan open to everyone to eat so if he gets hungry they said to come up and have a feed.
None of the stars will be there or anything cause its mainly a scenery shoot as well as a "chase scene" and the lead up to the farm down the driveway which will look pretty much.... like this
- i took this while we went up in spring
This was taken from a spot near a dam where they will be filming...
- taken on the same day
we're thinking of going up this week to watch (and help my uncle out with all this free beer hes getting lol)
