  1. woohoo i have 10 points!! are they like fly buys? well if your puting out some good power and if ur going to be under there anyway its definately something to look into.
  2. yeah that thing lol bosses im guessing (you have to remember im not a mechanic and dont know shit about this sort of thing lol altho im sure u guessed) you mean the part the bolts screw into? a thick set of nuts which we welded onto a thick washer and cut to fit... much stronger than what was originally there.
  3. how will i be outside the car?? i dont get it... what because i have the balls to lend my car to someone from another country to drive my car in a drift comp after spending 4 hours over 2 days drifting in it??? riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight
  4. I cant remember the thread which this was in but it must be a pretty common issue in these things that have any decent amount of power. Generally the straighter the better otherwise it can cause more stress on the parts and brackets involved. The cefiro drivetrain isnt quite straight which u cant really tell from the pic below cause i had already taken the prop shaft out and had my bro in law weld in some new home made sections out of some pretty heavy duty metal washers and nuts. In this pic (below) you can see one of the 2 main bolts that bolts up into the section pictured above... it had ripped out the entire section of metal that it bolted into and at the top of the circled red section you can see that one is missing... because it sheered the bolt off completely.
  5. nice carbon style inserts
  6. if i had $25k+ i would get that.... work on it at my bro in laws panel shop.... mmmmmmm flares lol 2k to finish off the body work... a nice 5k paint job... maybe a nice sparkley/glitter red or something need more pics of inside, out and under body like i had for mine... wonder if they have any
  7. well she brought it around today and i was going to read the entire thing after seeing the pic until i got to the article and read.... "This is the most convincing IMAGE to date.... The image is an AMALGAM of a real car and computer trickery...." nuff said.... no need to read.
  8. and a change of the front lights and grille i dont know.... i just cant bring myself to liking those style lights... theyre not aggressive enough for me
  9. yeah seen it a while ago... like riverside said... doors a bit off and the and auto...
  10. hmmmmmmmmm.... lol nah i prefer mine still.. even with a paint job. Would still be nice to get around in
  11. nice pics marcus.... wtfs that 2 dr white shoe looking car/van???? looks like it has 33 GTR rims on it I WANT IT!!
  12. no the idea is to push the car to the limit... not push it into a wall.
  13. Lmao
  14. great... $10 says this appears in the next issue as fact. good one rsx84!!!
  15. u racist justin!
  16. yeah central locking still works from the inside... but from the drivers side key it only operates my door.
  17. lol thats what i cant wait to read if no ones posted it by tomorrow i'll put it up
  18. i wish this was after payday would have been able to bring CEF-ZLA
  19. see none of these happen in my car... no speedo noise... no auto locking... only thing mine does the same is the windows which as u said isnt really an issue.
  20. lol anyway... has anyone read the article on the "Next Skyline" in Speed magazine yet?? It has it on the cover of the latest issue... My gf just called me cause she wanted to know if i wanted it because had stuff on the next skyline (shes a good girl ) but i wont get it til tomorrow... so has anyone read it yet???
  21. they arent really quicks so much as they are features. Most 4 door cars only wound the windows down that far. I remember my dads commonwhore of that era doing the same thing... our mitsi. The door lock thing is a safety feature which is the same as the soarer has... as soon as u get up past 20ks it locks the doors... all tho it should lock them all. Mercedes bought this in as an anti hijack feature incase people got car jacked cause people always forgot to lock their doors when they got in the car.
  22. i didnt say it was... but its definately an ideal place for a shoot
  23. i'll try and find em...
  24. more than likely the exact same thing that happend to mine... was taking it out for testing and gave it a bit of a hard launch. I think cause of the increased power (which is even more so in ur case) and the fact the drive/tail shaft is slightly offset rather than straight it puts even more pressure on the mounts that hold it to the body... and theyre not exactly that solid and there arent that many of em... 2 bolts up into a metal plate. we ended up fixing it and welding it up even better than when it left nissan and seeing as it withstood the punishment at banzai it obviously worked well
  25. ive seen a grille similar to that one a ceffy but dont know what make it was... mine doesnt have any mesh behind it... more airflow to the oil cooler i spose
