Had this for quite some time now... its one of the original PS2s as in bulky one which is a lot better for many reasons other then asthetics. This model allowed you to put a 3.5" HDD in it via a network card. Sony stopped selling the network card years ago and to find one these days for under 100 dorra is pretty hard, but not impossible.
By using a network card you can download and install games onto the HDD via software on the memory card, this one has a 32MB switchable plus another std 8MB card.
I have currently 3 or 4 HDDs ranging from 30GB to 200GB which are loaded with games of all types up until 2005/6... off the top of my head the ones i remember are D1 Drifting, The Hulk, Hello Kitty Rolla something, Tekken 4, Sniper, Resident Evil 4, Battle Field 2.
why this is a good thing is that because the laser is only used on bootup for less then 30seconds and then everything is loaded directly from the HDD which cuts down huge amounts of wait and loading times and also causes less ware on the laser. It also means you can play ANY region games, wether it be Japan, US or Europe.
I dont have a full list of games on me but i can find out... i do still have the originals for GT4, GT3, V8 supercars 3 and a few others but most of them were either stolen or lost over time so the HDD versions is all i have. So you can just simply buy another IDE drive thats empty, format it using the PS2 loader software and backup your own.
So you will get...
PS2
Guncon 2 light gun (came with Time Crisis 2, the game istelf was stolen before i even got to back it up)
Some other similar gun which has snapback action
2 controllers
few originals
few HDDs with around 80 games on them (can provide list if needed)
32MB memory card with preinstalled software
8MB standard sony card
PS1 GT2 disc which is used to boot
