  1. hmmmm thats not what vic roads said... i told them about my car etc and they said thats fine as long as it passes scrutineering then thats fine... they were more worried about the licence which apparently any of the CAMS licences cover.
  2. mate i honestly know sfa about cars... let alone turbos...all i know is if i strap a T88 on my GTR along with all the other supporting bits it = smokey fun

  4. decided it would be easier for me just to use the ceffy as a track/event car. As such with the current mods etc i wont need to comply it nor get a normal RWC, instead im going to register it as a Rally Vehicle just got off the phone with Russ or whatever his name is and wen over the details. When i get my CAMS L2S licence via our club all i need is to provide a copy of it... the application form and a scrutineers report saying that the vehicle has no major problems and is safe etc and i can gets me a rally permit! costs a little more than a normal rego... but the costs of getting a normal rego far out weigh one of these. This also means i dont have to pay for towing the car all round the place even at jack from citywides more than awesome rates! (go the plug!) only downside is it can only be used on the road for transport.... but pfffffft who cares! i can still use it on our OFFICIAL CLUB meets etc as they are approved by cams
  5. it all depends mate on ur situation... ebc is always going to be better for tuning and more reliable... if u can afford to spend the extra cash on it go for it... even one of the older model ebcs are good... not as dear as AVCRs and the like.

  7. lol yeah well im sure if i got pulled over it would be a different story... hence it might only be used as a track car. i dont want the hassles or fines.
  8. my car weighed in at 1350... same as the r32 or there abouts... just as easy to get this down the qtr as any other non GTR skyline.
  9. yes u can bolt an RB26 plenum up to an RB20/25 however for the cost of the whole thing it would be a waste of time. -exhaust -FMIC (GTR will do and much cheaper) -Oil Cooler -suspension -clutch -bleed valve -POD -ECU remapping thats pretty much the basics.

  14. er... that bomex front end is heaps tough! seeing as it has the guards on there already for a GTST id say the GTR ones would bolt straight up to it... then all u need is the GTR indicators... put a fat do-luck front end on it and finish it off with a nice big URAS kit... ie. skirts and rear bar

    i find it so dodgey that this person is making thousands and thousands of dollars off these adds and yet the people who use their petrol to get there... there time to do it.... get nothing? even the caterers get paid ffs!

  22. ummmm.... nah man. you would have to do a cut and shut on it... the rear of a 180 is a hatch. that rear window and rear qtr window is definately R32... much different to the silvia.
