  1. glad someone did
  2. dam thought it was a shopfront online... just photos http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/profile/d...?gamertag=inark
  3. no wonder i dont come on here much anymore... your all getting too serious.
  4. An insider tells me that next week iPrimus are releasing a 100GB plan for $50 I will be using it... tech support if you actually need it is much better then TPG... their backbone is 10x greater thanks to their equipment over TPGs and with them renting the Google pipe to america ping times are generally better all round.
  5. its obvious that the real reason is not mechanical at all... i cant believe any one has not posted this up yet, it is that obvious... all of this pain and money could have been avoided had you all thought of the most simplest thing. what is it? your left arm is shorter then your right... while your right arm is extended at the standard distance. Because your left arm is shorter, for you to reach the wheel with the same amount of bend as your right, you unwhittingly pull the wheel to the left. like seriously...
  6. nooooooooooooo lucky you told me now... although i could still use it on the PS3 for GT5 the only way to launch in this game is everything off... manual and as soon as you take off change to second. I did that and ended up going from a 9.8 to a 9.5 i still need to find a good tune for it though cause others are getting 8s... low to mid 8s. thinking about it... the ones in the 8s are probably using wheels and not controllers, maybe it has nothing to do with my tune. has anyone posted up the links to their store fronts? I'll do mine when i get home.
  7. all the top drift scores ive seen have been that setup... i seriously cant drift with the controller... im not even going to attempt setting a score without getting a G25 or 27 first My Datsun 510 has over 700kw Best i can get out of it though is a 9.8 1/4 I need to learn to tune cars properly cause i know you can squeeze an 8 out of it
  8. Modern Warfare 2 GT5 (the only game i will actually own on my PS3, the 2 that game with it will be traded in) Assassins Creed 2 Mass Effect 2 New Battlefield
  9. i will sell it to you for 15m credits
  10. awesome game... dont bother dragging in anything other then a Datsun 500 if the person your racing has a Datsun 500 because you will get owned. go to the eventlist and access the drag races from there or setup a custom online game and do it from there, if you want to practice, just set it up as private and dont invite anyone, likewise for dori. i think the best part is making huge amounts of money from selling cars. ive sold so many pos sprinters which i have used a design template i made with snow camo for 150k+ after only spending about 30k on it. Online auctions and fanboys rock. definately filling the void until GT5 comes along... and i will definately be buying a good wheel setup and invest some time in a racing cockpit for them both. if anyone wants to add me online, feel free, the gamertag is inark funnily enough

yeah its pretty good... especially with all the OT available, when i was contracting i would pull in on average 70k a year. Plus you get a week off every month (after working a weekend shift of 24 hours) plus 4 weeks anual and 10 days sick. having worked for the company for over 5 years and not doing the actual course until this year i found it reasonably easy... except the fact that i basically had to forget how our company works because its "best practice"... not how our company runs. the foundations to me are common sense and i found it amazing that someone actually makes millions and millions of dollars for something that isnt even a standard and is basically just "this is how you could do it if you wanted it run how we think would be ideal". yeah the pays not bad considering how easy the work is... when i say service desk i use the term losely. We have already moved 3 members out into the business as perms into good roles, one in sap, one in service management and another in quality. The VP basically told us he wants 15 people to move out of the department and into the business over the next 2 years. Might even be supplying the business in our other locations in Buenos Aries and Lausanne... see how it goes.

We are looking for people at the moment too... nothing in the business role, pure service desk with the look to move them out into our other fields (Networking, SAP, Database, Data warehouse, Web Applications, Automation, Scheduling etc...) start off is contract work, 12 months, but those good enough would probably progress in less then that. Pays pretty reasonable too... probably around 55-60k mark through either IBM or sub contracting through Man Power. Does involve rotating roster though as we service the global service desk and have to cover Europe, Latin America and Asia and every country and region in between. I work for Philip Morris Intl. as a Technical Analyst, Service Desk Team Leader. Would have to have at least a few years background in IT in a help or service desk, newbies with quals in SAP, DB etc would be prefered as thats what we are looking to move people into permanently. We are an ITIL based company so ITIL training would also be a plus

  15. 2k... ur dreaming, you can setup a "good" gaming machine for a teenager maybe and keep updating it every few months, which is fine if thats what your happy with. That should perform pretty much to the same level of a PS3 or 360. But for people who have money and want to pay for it, then 2k will barely cover the CPU and case. The one i built for my mate has these core components... not including the water cooling which is only a wank if you dont overclock. Intel Core i7 975 EVGA X58 SLI Classified Hydro Copper 6GB Corsair Dominator GT PC3 2000 C8 DDR3 EVGA GeForce GTX-295 CO-OP FTW Edition All that alone came to almost 4k And this still isnt going to extremes, he does want to double the GFX cards and double the RAM... I'll stick to my $300-$500 consoles.
  16. i have been building PCs for about 15 years, the last gaming rig i built for a mate was about 6k, which to me is what classifies as a High End PC. I think the case, PSU, mouse, keyboard and cooling system alone came to about the 1500. That should keep him going for at least a year and half before he has to touch anything to upgrade. I used to do the samething when i was hardcore into games, but these days its just a waste of time. While in theory your right, my consoles hardware wont change, however yes the graphics in the games we play WILL improve (even the almighty and graphically retarded Wii), as has been shown over time with previous generation systems, when game developers actually learn to code their games to best utilise the capabilities of the hardware in the system because unlike with PC games they know exactly what hardware every single machine is going to be running the game in, so games developed for 360 only or PS3 only can really push the limits of the consoles. Best example would be the old SNES and PS1's. Towards the end of that consoles life cycle the grpahics being pumped out of it were 10x greater then what had been previously or at the start. Sure they wont get the same frame rates as the PC i built for my mate or be able to run as smoothly in rediculously high res... but i could still probably own him on a $1000 rig (or if it were possible, using my PS3 or 360 with a controller) in a lower res and graphic setting at any online FPS.
  17. yeah us poor console gamers have it tough... having to outlay 3k so we can play a game slightly better then something that only costs $300-$500 only to have to upgrade it every time a new game comes out cause our old tech, 6 month old GFX cards, cant run any of the latest releases... oh wait... thats not us!!
  18. my wife got me one for xmas with Resistance 2 and Prince of Persia... im only going to use it for GT5... i have my 360 as my media box and games console. Unless theres something released on PS3 that i cant get on 360 that i want to play... which... i dont think there is.
