Well R34NRG it is funny how you forget that i gave you that email link and told you what sensors were needed to do the exhaust and intake and spoke to you on the phone for 30mins trying to explain how i did this install nerly 12 months ago when i did it... I don't want thanks but you should't parade around with stories.. Anyway the main reason for this post is to let everyone interested in this install that.... 1. You don't need a Vspec version they are all the same (give or take tv button) The all do exhaust and intake temp.... 2. The are easy to get from Yahoo action (3 for sale as i type this) 3. G sensor is only in Nismo MFD V2 Look good for you that you got it done but after the time i spent talking you through it before you even bought the unit and then see things i told you such as only needing basic electronic and soldering skills just bugs me...

I had a 86 celica that was having problems starting and sometimes would even shut downbut then for days it would be normal... Toyota said the ecu was dead and needed new one so i asked my mate who owns a battery sales shop and he said that one of the plates in the battery was probley dead so he put a new battery in and not a problem all fixed...... The ecu was the problem but it was caused by the battery not having the right amount of amps or volts so it was like a tape deck with old batterys.... I would try the battery first especialy if urs is old because it's not a waste of money either way if you use a good battery... I would also get a Trickel feed charger (No need to disconnect battery from car) if u don't use the car much because batterys don't last if they start to go flat then alternator charge it again and over and over if ya know what i mean... (See Pics) Sorry about the quality.. This is a bit of a pricy one but same as they use in the shows and will bring two batterys at the same time back from dead flat as well as run sound system etc without strain on battery... I just put it on when i get home and let it go always charged and longer battery life... ( I only drive the car on weekends) I do have a 2nd set of leads so even the work car gets a hit at the same time when i can be bothered.. lol Let us know hey...

hey man could be ur starter motor but it may also be a dead plate in ur battery... what kind of volts you got on ur volt meter when ignition on? And how long ur car sit without being used and is it manual or auto? The battery in the GTT is a bit to small for the car in my opinion i changed mine to a delkor calcium battery with 610 cold crank amps.. almost double the factory one and now i starts perfect every time. Delkor cost a bit more but one of the highest cold crank amps in its class and last a long time... Good luck and let us know hey...

AIS Code of practice: Interesting read for people who want under body neons on Page 85 AIS_codeofpractice_Section3__page_85_neons.pdf Modification Book: Handy hints Modifications_book.pdf Vehicle Standards and Safety Regulation: Bit Long lol TrantOpRUVSSR99.pdf QLD Demerit points: Pdf_demerit_point_offences.pdf Just another link if ur interested.... http://www.transport.qld.gov.au/Home/Safet..._modifications/ Well i hope this helps someone.... I'll try to post more soon but please try to add to this if you know of something that is of some use. x2 spot on! bov must no be atmospheric Where is your Boost gauge mounted??? There is no rule that says you can't add a gauge to the car just that it can't be on the A piller if they are above the height of your Speedo.. (like the s15 import) This is QLD rules but seam to be the same across the board... This is taken from the QLD Transport Modification hand out.. Ill put the PDF here of the whole book and ill make a new thread with the some other modification rule books for any one who wants it... Any additional internal or external gauges must: • not interfere with the field of view of the driver • not produce glare to the driver • not have the possibility of an oil pressure line, or similar, breaking with pressurised fluids spraying onto the windscreen • be fitted in such a way to reduce the risk of injury to the vehicle occupants or pedestrians. I hope i am allowed to post this here, but i am in no way affiliated with the company just one happy customer to be. I was looking for so body kit parts and i came across these guys so i sent a email enquiry and they were great help as well as being cheap for their listed body kits and other parts. Give them a look, R34 GTR Kits look great and they even have the Ztune Kit... They just need a GTT to work on and the won't to make the GTR kits to suit the GTT Gaurds.. http://www.jsai.com.au/shop/index.php Here are some pics of the Z tune kit they make...

Hey man i use APC at Underwood www.apc-racing.com to do all my work done and Nick from there knows a bit about them becuse he sugested it to me and gave me a good run down on it.. I plan to get it fitted through them in the New Year... AHHH It already is O well in the next few months. lol There are som high powered cars running on the ultimate in japan i have heared... Only problem is they look too good to hide with the ecu... Good luck and let us know how it goes hey....
-
cheers, noticed you got the same wing but not the rest of the kit? u put the wing on? No Imported it like that. I have the Nismo front bar and the Wing just no side skirts, and the different rear bar not so deep. I was thinking of getting the skirts but i like the rear bar it still suits and blends to the rest of the kit. (not that i don't like the Nismo bar) so i thought id leave it. Good idea to put the Xenons back in they are the best lights to drive to, it bugs me when i drive my work ute with normal lights lol....
-
lol yes i agree with that..... But mate you have to go with the one that jumps out at you. There are some real nice 99 model jap spec 200sx out there now and they are a good price..... Good luck.

You can get a key cut there is no chip in your factory key. I got a spare done and it works just fine i used one of these but any blank key will work.... I hope thats what you wanted to know.

Very nice mate.... Clean looking paint and I like the wing....

awesome mate.. hey was it hard to get the mfd talking on it? ummm yes well.... I swore alot... I got the wiring digram from a guy called Purpleline on hkskylineclub and then well it was just a matter of splice and solder a few wires on the ecu, behind speedo and its all sweet.. Still have to fit the exhaust temp sensor and intake temp sensor but thought i would do that when the front mount goes in.... I would say the hardest part was getting the unit. lol
