99 GTT

Happy Australia Day Everyone!!! Took the car for a 200km drive through the mountains this morning at 4:30am to give it a good run. Such a fun, enjoyable car to drive. Shame to see it sit here with no genuine buyers as yet. So as i have said previously we are open to offers, and can arrange interstate transport. Distracting is as follows in the Modifatation rules for QLD Transport. (NOT WHAT THE POLICE OFFICER THINKS), He/she enforcers the law they do not make it.) So keep a laminated copy of this rule in the car make sure it complies and they cannot do a thing about it. QLD transport/ Road smart say you can do it you can do it, this goes for this or any mod you do.

They are legel in QLD as long as they follow these rules.. Lighting Adding extra lights or neon's can bring more attention to your car, but it's not always wanted. The fitting of under body lights (neon's or LEDs) or other lights is legal, provided they meet several criteria. For under body lights, they cannot be distracting to other driver's, this means you cannot see the source of the light. Flashing lights (excluding indicators) are illegal except for emergency vehicles or special vehicles in hazardous situations (usually amber lights on construction vehicles or tow trucks etc). Colours are also limited. Blue lights cannot be fitted to any vehicle at any time, unless it an emergency vehicle – this includes under body lights, LED washers or parkers. White lights can only be visible from the front of the vehicle; red lights can only be visible from the rear of the vehicle. Purple cannot be used due to their use by the Department of Transport. Yellow (or amber) should only be used as clearance markers. I personally think they look good, but not on all cars.. I would have green if our car was not forsale (100% legal).... Not saying i would use them all the time but some times. And for those that say they are rice, well the car is Japanese... lol and they did start it.. hehe Hope that helps. If you follow the wiring diagram that Purpleline made. The one i put the link to then your oil pressure sensor will be detected. But the only way to have it on the display is to buy the Nismo upgrade at about $900 to $1400 and this will then give you upgraded Boost to 2BAR and replace throttle position with Oil pressure. Also adds the G meter lap time and data logger etc. (these only work in GTR) Check it out here. Nismo Link

That is a Autech car sort of a division of Nissan Global but not, i beleive they sell the cars through nissan dealers. Also have done some work with Nismo. Some of their other well known cars are linked bellow. Yep $22000 NEG and comes with a free car. If i sold it then i would't have one of the rare Black Manual GTT's with a GTR mfd would I. It is the only GTT with a working MFD in Australia for sale!!! Will only do that if the new owner wants the car returned to stock for a lower sale price, as i have all the parts to do this as you can see above. Was a lot of work to put in properly when i did it a couple of years ago so it will stay in car.

Price has been reduced to $22000 on Carsales, Tradingpost and Vechile Mania. Price is quite negotiable with no RWC/Rego and also for interstate buyers!! Rather sell privately then to a car yard. So PM any offers. Cheers

Press the DISP button and adjust the brightness.. Should be low to start with unless the screen has a problem. Would it start up without pin 3 connected??

Pod filters are a waste of time and don't gain any real performance over a high quality panel filter in stock airbox. You just need to look at the Mines R34 GTR or any Mines car for that matter he uses panel in stock air box. Go the k&N panel....

Its plug and play if you buy the connector of Chris. Like 3 plugs and your done unless you want the 0 to 100 and theft/saftey functions (about the only thing it is good for) then you need to splice wires to handbreak and speed sensor on the ecu. Or i am sure Chris can do it for you at a good price he is one of the best.

Turbo or non turbo you should always use a Good Synthetic Oil $50 or $60 dollars.. $10 oil filter and sump plug washer.. Oil is not something you want to cheap out on, and lets face it $70 every 5000km probably 10000km for a non turbo with good oil, is not a lot. Enjoy.

Don't know if this forum is allowed, privacy act and all but what about I.P. address, don't the get looged when you loginto your account/make a post. Maybe mods can help, If you have this then police can track I.P to the house used to access... Just a thought..

it should be 12v. But if you won't don't connect pin 3 and see if it boots. If not then connect it. The accessory just turns the GTR badge on the screen, then full boot when ignition. but i am sure you need it to work. Let me know hey.

Thats a racing car i was not talking about racing cars.. As i said in a later post in the future we will be in hybrid, electric and smaller capacity if an combustion engines. i mean there is even a rumor about a hybrid GTR. Dead is probley a bad word but there are not to many affordable V8 cars anymore apart from holden and ford. And what will happen if for go ahead with plains to go FWD as the ceo hinted at. At the end of the day i don't dislike V8s as the family used to own a few (except v8 supercars but lets not start, Go back to the old format stock cars, all classes and just bigger tyres) i just don't see the point in paying more rego and fuel when a smaller engine can do the same thing.

All you need to do is Positive feed to pins 1, 2, 3, 12 and a Negetive feed to 13 and 14. Make sure you put a fuse on the positive feed incase you short it out.. Also as i posted above your best bet is to follow the original DIY by Purpleline from Hong Kong Skyline Club, as it worked for me over two years ago with his help. But if you do need some help just PM me and i will give you a hand or answer any questions.

Link from other topic I would say that you would't have wanted this car by the way, there would be a reason for no rego or rwc (eg. oil leaks, did it have compliance?) Keep in mind Rego and RWC can cost up to $1000 The 180sx is a good idea as you will get one for that price.. Again good luck and welcome to SAU

R34 under $10000 let alone $9000... That will be hard, or a heap of junk Good luck but be carefull, most cars that are real cheap compaired to others, are like that for a reason. p.s. Link3 is $9250... you could offer $8500 and see what they say...
