how do u check if there working correctly? i have evan took the light on the roof off and checked the terminals.. i have take booth door switches out.. and they looked fine 1 red wire on the passenger door.. and i think it's 2 or 3 on the drivers door... so yeah how do u check if theres an actual fault with the switches????

i cleaned my afm and acc valve aswell.. but now no stalling no hunting wen car temp is normal.. the only problem..now is... it hunts wen cold.. wen i start the car on in the morin it pretty much sits on 500rpm and loks and feels lik it gona stall it like my cold air idle valve needs a clean.. has any1 cleaned that?? but wen at the lights or sopping it starts hunting but wen it hits normal car temp.. its complete stops nothing!! any ideas..

Hey does any have an issue with there dash..with the door light remaining on..evan wen all doors are closed.. also the door light in the car remains on, wen in the middle position, so it always on off.. ive check both door open/closed sensors.. checked the trunk, for a open/closed sensor..but couldnt fine any senor.. but i did realise wen driving at night that i could see the light remaining on in my trunk... so ive takin the globe out.. but i cant find any trunk/boot sensors at all... does anyone wer they r in a r33? or had a similar problem as mine...

yeah, still cant find the problem either.. i plugged in the nissan computer to my car.. not error or faults wat so eva.. my tech mate reckons it somethin to do wit my alarm system..

i agree with #3.. thats so true.. Nissan make the standard turbo car richer stock,so wen a car and its engine is lightly modded by drives.. it wont b too lean an dangerous for the engine..its a precaution..a safety for drives and their engines... plus i heard that have it a bit lean is good for power.. beta than too rich & flooding ur engine.. but you must watch ur timing/boost etc... my apexi NEO at idle is -12%(a/f %) and my idle is perfect!!! no hunting or anything.. plus i got a atmo bov..

yeah..sensors seem fine.. tried using electric contact cleaner on the two sensors..o difference though.. im gona flush my coolant again..but this time add "redlines - thinner than water" its a little 750ml red solution that u add with only water.. and makes it drop a degrees... and i asked around work, tech said its good crap..and def. works!!! im also go change my clutch fan to a thermo fan... that should make a hell of a difference..

yeah..i no..but getting it fitted here..not many tuning companies in perth.. im getting an r32 ecu and getting the whole thing re-mapped.. it cos bout 500-800bucks only... not included ecu.. theres two places i heard in perth that do this re-map now... i believe its called niz-tune or nis-tune.. somethin lik dat... hyperdrive does it.. and so does one more tuner place.. look ito it..

hey i drive a '96 r33 s2 sky...bout a few weeks ago..i notice my door light on the dash does not go away.. and yes ive checked the door switch on the roof..and both switchs on the door frames..but no luck... anyone had this problem before... plus i heard that nissan sometimes the ecu will display lights on the dash wen thers a fault..etc.. any ideas would help..thanks

yeah..thatur a/c fan.. does ur clutch fa come on?? if not...,thats wat i'll be worried about... but for ur question lik a few people mention it should come o wen u press ur air-con...dependin on how hot it is aswel..if its required.. another question not related... how people hear have done a clutch fan conversion to a thermo fan on a r33 skyline??

k..well mostly all skylines run rich!! this is because they(nissan) dont want punks up-ing the boost and blowing motors.. dats y they got the boost solenoid too.. so after 5500rpm the boost goes up to 7psi.. as for the APEXI NEO.. search my ppost coz, ive asked this before too.. NEO are great..i gained more power..and an extra bout 100 k's outa my tank.. i believe the NEO doesnt use the low-throttle settings..from wat i can tell and the dec-air it doesnt use either..u can play round wit it..but i doubt it.. coz i got an atmo bov..but that got correct by adjust the throttle postion sensor..which is connect to the throttle body..

geez, u only got 220rwkw from all those mods.. i got 248 and less mods..guess every car is diff.. i got a NEO, whorks fine after my second tune.. wat u got ur settings on if u know? plus do u fine that low throttle settings dont seem to lik work.. like its always on high-throttle settings... but i gain bout nearly 100 extra k's outa my fuel tank from the NEo... so dats y im keepin it.. but i mit get somethin for my timing control.. lik listed above.. then mit look at getin a emange piggyback system.. coz not many place here in perth will fit a powerfc into a rb25..heard of lots of problems.. and doesnt really do much..plus u loose all ur sensors check etc.. plus it more exp. for the rb25 too...

yeah, i dont no about that.. thats still confusing me.. and it hasnt done it ever since that day..maybe it just got stuck/jammed wen i was dropin the clutch?? who knows but i found out the smell problem.. coz i was concerned about that too.. so atleast thats one problem fixed!! plus i got my rim back..all good now..
