  1. but its got twin blade fins on the wheel.. i believe its a series2 turbo hence it saying 45V4.. series 1 are usually 45V1 and 45V2 the only thing im unsure about is that.. i was lead to believe that the 45V4 had.. "twin blade/fin NYLON wheel" but im unsure on that,, ca someone please correct me or say if im rit??? thanks
  2. thats the same as mine.. ive got a '96 r33 series2.. i can took a photo of my compressor side.. i got a silver steel wheel.. single blades/fins wheel.. and it says 45V3 so wat the deal? can someone please explain?? i read that 45V1 & 45V2 is on series 1 R33 and that 45V3 & 45V4 are on series 2 R33 am i rit so far???????????????? then i was lead to believe that... series 1 have a alloy single blade/fin wheel (is it alloy?or was it steel?????????????) & series 2 have a nylon twin blade/fin wheel is this correct??

  4. i also put a whiteline non-adjustable extra heavy duty front sway bar in my R33 series2.. was the best money ive spent on suspension so far.. pretty much dont have any understeer anymore, only coz need new front tyres..lol cant wait to do my rear
  5. mit be a bit off topic...but wat about r34 interior parts? door trims, centre console.. would these fit a series 2 r33??
  6. pulled out my hicas lockbar outa my 33 today at work wit a work mate.. took us bout 30mins using a hoist.. good walkthrough...made it clear as anything..anybody can do this... thanks heaps GTRgeoff... by-the-way did anybody use lock-thread on those bolts that actually hold up the bar? would this be recommended? well i did anyways just in-case.. plus now..can i just remove a dash fuse to remove the hicas light????or some fuse??? or do i gota pull out the cluster unit? im hoping i dont have too...lol

  8. so u guys reckon a split turbo back pipe, rather than a bell-mouth turbo back pipe... correct? i heard split ones get bad back-pressure... i think it was back-pressure...lol i too am in the market for a turbo-back pipe..

  12. is ther any OTHER manifolds that offer the independent throttle-bodies like the rb26 manifold??? ive bein the looking at that "Rb26 Inlet Manifold and Adaptation to the RB25 Head" alot of info on there... but seems like alo of work..lol can u modify the Greddy manifold to have 6 throttle-bodies???? lol coz then u dont have to mess around wit bracket,injectors and fuel rail..like the rb26 inlet manifold.... oh and another thing..have does the IACV work on the greddy manifold?? is there one? or do u have to get a new custom valve?
  13. gota a pic of this manifold? i heard and believe that Greddy makes a manifold like this or use too..., but stop making it becoz it starves the 5 & 6 Cylinder of air... (i believe its unavailable anymore) correct me if im wrong.... so since the throttle body being at the front.... air would go from Cylinder 1....to...6 6 getting less air... so really its not really worth an upgrade... dont get me wrong.... i too was looking at a forward facing manifold too.. but not if its gonna cause problems or starvation on other cylinders... plus if think about................................. nissan Japan put alot of money into developing these engines.... SR's and the RB's.. but esp. the RB26 thats why they got independent throttle-body cables and a front facing manifold...plus for better response... and thats why the rb20 and 25 have top-side facing manifolds...so air would be divided equally... and SR have front facing manifold..but only coz they only got 4 cylinder..not 6!!! so 5 and 6 would get starved... so the manifold would have bein tested & designed perfectly for ur engine... but doing modifications to the engine would change the basic of these designs..but still.... id stay with the stock manifold..!!!!!!!!!!!! or try fitting an rb26 manifold..!!!!!!!!!!! the extra independent throttle-body cables would make a hell of a difference and and a better upgraded!!!! i believe a few people on SAU have done this upgrade.... but thats just me....
  14. hey PM-R33 you mit hav asked this before..or some1 else mit have... but i think it was on greenline..for i tomei poncams.. they had a listing like: PONCAM Intake and exhaust camshafts. 93/8~97/9 R33 GTSt. 256 degree intake and exhaust, 8.50mm lift camshafts. Suitable for NVCS vehicles. PONCAM Intake and exhaust camshafts. 97/9~ R33 GTSt (Crank angle sensor change). 256 degree intake and exhaust, 8.50mm lift camshafts. Suitable for NVCS vehicles. can some please explain y? theres two different types?? and DONT say its the NEO engine... becoz i no that in the R34 GTT but they didnt start to '99? was it???
  15. hey, im intereted on how ur goes after fitting of these.. im prob. gona get 256/264 poncams and a tomei adj. exhaust cam gear.. and keep VCT.. my question is pretty much the as Smitizin....do u need to replace lifters/valves/spring/shims??? i read that on another post that PM-R33 your running into problems..did u replace any of the above?? just wondering if anyone is going to do the same thing..its best to know before hand... and i believe wit procams, but i believe a 264/264 + setup u need to replace everything wit solid... but can some1 please talk more about this..done a search but cant seem to find much...
  16. u wouldnt be able to run bigger injectors becoz u wouldnt be able to tune wit the stock ecu... or the fuel pump module/reg would adjust but i dont c how??? and would the spray from the injector be all ova the place??? well i dont get it..lol can some1 else try explain this?

  18. its becoz u wer backing of the pedal, then flooring it again.. its the afm measuring, then ur changing by flooring it and the engine cant adjust in time, in other words ur driving lik a noob...lol get a tune... get a new ecu... or at least get a piggyback lik a afc... and learn to drive

  22. dont bother doing doing..just buy a gtr... thats y they made em... i agree as above wit Maxx and all... theres nothing wrong wit rwd ....real drivers...haha
  23. yeah, ive got adjustable KYB shocks on mine all round... wit KYB heavy duty-lowered springs... front whiteline adjustable castor bushes... front extra-heavy duty whiteline sway bar... rear strut brace.. and my car handles like a dream.. just got fit my front strut brace and my hicas lock-bar...which are in my garage... and she wont b a boat anymore..lol than its coil-overs and whiteline pineapples for the rear cradle... and thats all you really need... but it depends on wat u like..and how be driving.. me..i like my control wen sideways on the sreet or wer-eva.. and my guess everyone is like that... make sure ur not on stockie's either, they tend not to grip...lol some good 235/45r17 wit good tyres should help too...
  24. i chuckd in a new std nissan in mine..only coz after i fitted my front mount i noticed my temp went up a tiny bit.. so i tht i'd replace my tehrmo just incase.. anyways i looked at getting a nismo but tht in summer it would be great for any uses..AND BE WORTH IT.... BUT..... in winter..cold starts...and driving around wit a nismo one would be ugly for city driving...lol operating temperature would take longer to reach... and NO it wouldnt do any damage to the engine... hay Micheal how'd that new rad. go? any difference????or only on track???wat about on really hot day??if u have exp. one yet....
