  1. Also just the other day I saw a near identical GTS-t (series 2 turbo, no fuel system or ecu mods, standard intercooler) make 155rwkw at 9psi on the same dyno. Just thought I share that for no reason really.
  2. Christ this thread is repeditive. I will state a few facts that I have witnessed with my own 2 eyes. The skyline in discussion made 181rwkw on a hub dyno at checkered flag in wellington nz. The turbo was RB25 series 1, stock cooler, manual bleed valve running 9psi, un-tuned safc. Now its got also an evo3 intercooler, 450cc injectors and the safc had had a road tune. The 215rwkw is only the owners guess and not good a one id think. Hope thats helped.
  3. My first taste of boost was in a S13 180sx that did 14.1 1/4 mile times. I loved it. Made me make the desision to buy my GTS-t. Its funny when someone has there first ride in a quick jap car. I find that if you take someone for a ride and their past fastest car experiance is "Their uncles 95 SS Commodore" then you can really make them go quiet. Or even better you can let them drive it on a cold night and then when they get out the car tell them to hold there hand still. Its so funny when you can see their hands (knees too sometimes) shakeing from the adrenalin rush.
  4. 1992 Nissan skyline gts-t Gunmetal Grey 2door Manual 3" Mandrill bent s/s exuast 17" Gt-t alloys Heavy-duty kevlar/ceramic clutch with GTR pressure plate King Springs, KYB shocks Front mount intercooler with s/s piping Lowered 25mm Blitz Turbo timer/Digital Boost gauge with peak hold Autometer 30psi Boost guage Adjustable boost runing 13psi 171 rwkw 14.1 1/4 mile Nizmo steering wheel 140,000km This is my car and in the nz market selling it privatly I would be doing well to get more than 8- $9000 for it.
  5. Thats not cheap for nz. I wouldn't have payed more than $3000 for that car by the sounds of its condition. There are quite a few gts-t's for sale over here with not many less kms (200,000 is not uncomon) that go for around $4500 - $5000.
  6. Ive never been 2 aussie........ but there it seems that the R33s out number the R32s by a great deal in australia, were as in nz its biased the other way. R33s are getting more and more common here fast because of our recent inport law changes.
  7. Well thats interesting.
  8. As I know it, when then engine is cold, the ecu tries to stop the car from making any boost. It is not overly noticable and can easily be overcome when the revs rise. It seems to be nissans way of protecting cold turbos.
