After investigation nothing can be done to fix it with the exception of a new seat base frame so I am after one. . best source is a wrecked M35 with electric seats. . So does anyone know where one is sitting at a wreckers. . before i make heaps of calls. . Thanks Jules

  19. Hello, The load rating is determined by the weight, 91 is about right for the stock variant tyres. My 97W was not a science but my preferred requirement. My AXIS rims have a maximum rating of 730kg. Most rims state the maximum weight on them say 630kg. Of course I am over kill to be safe. Say dry weight of your Stag is 1800kg, then add 5 x 80kg guys and luggage in the back then total weight is easily up to 2200kg / 4 wheels is 550kg per tyre, so your 91w will do fine allowing 615kg. . but better rating is desired in my own view. Plus the speed rating of W is more than enough. . Load Index - 81,82,85,86,87,90,92,95,96 Max Load/tyre (kg)462,475,515,530,545,600,630,690,710 http://www.toyo.com.au/TechInfoPDFs/Load%2...d%20ratings.pdf Hope that assists. Jules
  20. LOL . . .when a car has a "SNOW" setting, that's a good indication it's sweet to drive past your checkpoint . . .
  21. Hello, It's the RSD Rolling Stock Diameter that needs to be within the 3% variance as it messes with the speedo. Check here for all your requirements http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp I swear by the Proxes 4, be sure what ever tyre you get has the appropriate load rating (eg 97w) as larger cars need a higher load rating, simply because they weigh more and is particularly important in heavy performance cars. I found many tyres had the right size but failed the load rating requirement. I love the 245/40/18 97w profiles I have now and will not change. . Remember the wider your tyre is, the side wall measurement changes in proportionate ratios. Which means a thinner tyre say 225/40 side wall will be a completely different size to a 245/40 side wall. It's all about relative ratio to tyre width. Julius
