Hello everyone in NSW. I'm living in ACT and I require some work done on my GTR due to 2 or so roos jumping out infront of me and pushing me into as barrier. I'm finding it rather hard to find someone in ACT who either knows their way around a skyline's frame or even wants to do the job. I've been told it isnt that much of a hard job just a time consuming one. I will supply all the parts that are required to fix the frame and only need them to fix the frame (not even put the parts like radiator, intercooler or lights back on) as I have someone down here who can do the rest here, as the only problem they have is they dont trust themselves with the frame work. So if anyone knows of a decent workshop that will consider the job (that wont charge the earth) can you PM me their contact number and I will be very appricative. So thanks for your time Cheers! Hello everyone. I have had an unfortunate incident with a kangaroo recently...well 2 actually and thereafter a side barrier. The left hand side frame is bent aswell as most of the front radiator support. I've had a few mates that are mechanic and pannel beaters have a good look at it and they say its completely repairable but is just a long job to be done, but no so much a complex job. The only problem he said is finding someone who is willing to do it and no charge the earth. Would anyone know who would be willing to consider repairing my car having frame damage? I've been told Jracing is worth a try. Cheers Paul

Hey, After a few bits. Need a washer bottle for wipers, bumper support for front, bonnet hindges, AC condensor and fan. I'm not too sure if the bumper support will be mailable easily but the AC condensor and fan aswell as the washer bottle will probably be able to be posted Auspost or by any general courier. Cheers!

OMFG... My car is now swapping between two problems. On its that one of the coil packs decided to work or not on a day to day basis and the other is still the same problem I had before. I had the AFMs tested and they are both giving the same constant reading so one isnt broken. Its on and off and even stops while im driving and i know this and the cars revs drop a little and then its fine. I think my car is cursed as the fuel meter decided to work or not...its working now but before it was at rest position (sitting on the little plastic thing to stop it moving more down) and before that it just sat on quater of a tank even if the tank was full. Ive had a diagnostic on the engine and it said nothing was wrong. Grrr, it going to check the O rings on the injectors and think about who can check the fuel pump pressure, but chances are when i book it in the car will be running fine. Maybe i have to get an inline fuel pressure gauge to see if it is unusually low. And maybe a ECU reset just for the fun of it. CHEERS!

Nah, the whole fuel cut problem is fixed now...but another problem which was probably being hidden by the preveous has started. Basically I remember reading something that may be about it and they described it as 'engine sounds like a subaru engine' So basically is runs rather rough at times and has no power and at other times its completly fine and then it goes back. I could be acceleration it rather aggresivly and still be as slow as my other car. I might take up Suka's offer and take it down to his work and get it computer checked. Cheers!

Hey ya! I think the AFM clean fixed the problem as it has been going good for 2 days now and ive noticed it a bit more responsive. Thanks for all your help but if it appears again its back to the list of elimination. CHEERS!! P.S. You get muck with my honda civic on monday Stuart, alternator is either dead or near enough to it.

Would you say the worse ones are the ones that drive a sports car like a hyundai, or the ones who pretend they are ballroom dancing on the road....

Why hasnt anyone spotted me Hey I think got that scottish guy at Pits but he didnt even fill out my inspection slip properly and said my GTR was a sedan...with 2 doors and didn't even stamp a fail but that is good as there is no record of me ever getting inspected by the pits so they cant crop it up when i get it registered. Spotted a white R33 in Gungahlin next to raiders, sorry i didnt wave, was fuming about this guy in a holden who totally blarred his horn at some girl crossing the road cause she got in his way and he wanted to get to video shop before it closed to get porn...

Roos sometimes walk up to the door at my work on the graveyard shift...Unfortunatly the guy who is on is too busy to reap revenge upon it for all the suicide runs they do on cars. I also love how cops start tailgating me hoping ill speed up a little so they can book me, and when i just slow down 10kmph they over take me (unbroken lines naturally) and flaw it going up to atleast 130 in a 60 zone...all without its flashies on....must of been late for a payment... As for speed limits, they are designed so if you have an accident in that spot it wont be fatal...Bah more like designed so elderly people can still keep up with what is going on.... "Oh Malcom is that a red light or a pokermachine" (I chose that name at random) And keeping on that topic (I have alot to cry about dont i...) I was sitting in Government shop front to get rego renew, and there was this lady...elderly...getting a license renewal. When it came to the eye test, she came up with the excuse that she had recently gotten 'new glasses' so she was getting used to them, and then proceded to say if she rung her GP he will say she could see as good as an bagel..i mean eagle... I was thinking, if you cant see properly with your glasses why are you driving... I'm not saying all old people are bad drivers, its just its the only ones who try to merge into me.

Gave it a drive today and didnt have the problem, but judging from the past it has to be problem free for 2 weeks before I say the problem is resolved...On a more stupid note my other cars battery went flat while i was driving home...in the dark...oh why are the headlights dimming and why does my Revometer show Zero while in going 60...lol maybe my alternator carked it i dunno. But I'll be dropping in my GTR to ya soon Stuart as I'm getting the roadwortthy do at PW aswell as my CV boot issues. But it would be nice to see if anything else isnt right with my GTR. I also found out one of my pods is half crushed...Those Apexi ones arent really that cheap are they ><

Hey, I'm giving the AFMs a clean right now. I not sure if the fuel pump is to blame as it cuts at the same spot everytime and not at a random time. I'm thinking the ECU isnt letting the REV range go above when the turbos start to spool as it thinks there isnt enough air to run them efficently, that if it is the AFMs. See how the clean goes. If it still having a problem, I might have to borrow yours for a test Brad. THANKS!

Well today it worked fine and then while i was driving it started up again and when i was driving back from CIT it just stopped when I was at a set of lights. It is very random but I do recall the guy i brought them off saying the coils will require replacing sooner down the trace as they are getting worn or whatever they do in their old age. I've checked the intercooler piping when I put the plumback pipe on and they seem fine. I'll give the AFMs a clean and the actual connectors, as I think this might be the problem if not the coils. But I'll do everything that has been mentioned as it could be one of those aswell. CHEERS!

Hey everyone, I've got a rather random problem with my GTR that is random is the sence is happens randomly, but annoying non the less. Basically the fuel cut is activating at around 2800 RPM, which is most probably just before the Turbos start to spool. I've had this problem since i brought it but has only happened on 2 occasions prior to this. I use BP ultimate, stock ECU and only an aftermarket FMIC and pods. Could this be related to my Coil packs or a faulty connection between the AFM and ECU, or is it something more annoying like the internal wastegate. But again is doesnt happen very often and when it doesnt my car runs perfectly. Cheers

Nah I only work at epic one and never anywhere else due to staff shortages...almost forgot the smiley face on this line of text... I don't work Fridays only Saturday and Sunday day and I clean the slushie machines on monday and then have my night shift on Tuesday. Like most of us I like having my fridays off, which is how its been since ive ever worked anywhere. THe 20c thingy ended yesterday or something so all i can give you is the usually 8c But you also get to say hi to me and wait in line for about 5 minutes just to get fuel and then another 4 in the line to pay for it.... I was spotted by some guy in a work ute, he honked his horn at me and shouted something like 'yeah' with his fist out the window... Does anyone attend Reid CIT???
