  1. To match car seat covers ^^ Saw a couple of skylines at reid CIT carpark at 6:00pm tonight.
  2. *link removed*
  3. Not that im insinuating anything, but that looks around the fine for first offence DUI. Could have been possible that rather then selecting the over 15 under 30 on the dropdown bar, the 'whoever processes the fines' clicked on DUI first offence....must have been a good book they were reading... Anyway if is nothing else outlined on the fine apart from the speeding offence, dispute it as it is soild grounds to have the offence dismissed or removed as to rectify it they would HAVE to cancel/alter that fine and re-issue it...which would been a completly different fine all together. If the fine was issued on the spot, you could argue that the officer involved was not acting within the proper guidelines and a case of neglect of duty and/or questionable judgement would arrise.
  4. Spotted a white R35 GTR on my forecourt XD Didnt get a picture cause he just stopped to allow for a toilet break, but still looks nicer when its only 10 metres away.
  5. That lump of wood will last longer then his mashmellows on those stakes, so i guess he upgrades from a handfull of cloth to a chunk of wood. Atleast he can now sit on something to consider his stupidity in the typical Thinking man style
  6. Sandblasting removes rust? (Sorry, only time i heard about sand blasting was for wheels and concrete walls) If so will it hurt anything if the rust is on the firewall and surrounding parts?
  7. Anyone in Sydney (or near) have any of the above? Willing to drive up and pick them up. Ive only got this week so please send me a prices and pictures.
  8. Please delete Double post by mistake.
  9. Hi, I am now after the front and rear left hand side cradle (if there isnt such thing, front and rear cradle then) and Rear left hub/knuckle/bearing. Also after front and rear crossmember (have to be straight so off a car/frontcut that HASNT had a front end) All for R32 GTR. If you have one please send me photos if you can, and a price you are asking. Will need it posted to Canberra or if you are near by enough will pick up (within 1 hour drive i guess) Thanks! Paul
  10. Hello, I took my car to Inline to see Chris the other day...very bad news... Anywho, anyone have any R32 GTR cradles lying around? Thanks Paul
  11. Happy Easter everyone who jumps on today ^_^ Remember chocolate and carseats dont mix!! Also hiding the easter eggs in the following locations during a easter egg hunt is NOT advised: Fuel Tank....Mmmm...fuel.. Turbo intake...might forget about that one and well...engines werent build with chocolate injection in mind. Glove box...cause that is where u put ur gloves.... Boot...cause you will step on it when u put it on. Letterbox...cause people trying to steal ur stimulus check will eat it... And no there is on difference between Red Tulip and Cadbury cause they are made at same factory! Shell: Please delete this Thread on Monday...(ok Tuesday even you are allowed to have a day off)...as it will be useless.

  17. Which indicates the mechanic who was talking to me about the one i have on my car didnt have a clue what he was talking about >< Maybe he was sleepy...
  18. Titan: Hiding...never...sitting on box pile...yepyep ^^ I had a trainee so...made him do the work. Shell: I wont work till Saturday night, so cannot say if there will be a sandwich. But check the used by first...its usually up to me to check that half the time >< Spotted a gunmetal R34 GTR V-spec in Fyshwick on Townsville st when i was leaving it. Parked on side so probably worked around there. I was in the green thing. Also say a R33 pull into gungahlin Woolworths servo on wednesday. I was the one who forgot to turn off their alarm before trying to start the car ><
  19. Yep I'm Rodahn...i think you were my first lil fight...you lost
  20. Ah I see. I would only understand the need to check the whole car if the engine is a different type (rotor/JA80/RB30) as he would have to check if the car can support the change and that none of the supports and chassis has been compromised to put it in. If its just a swap cause the engine blew, sounds like he just making excuses, but since he is the engineer we dont have a choice as no matter how much we argue about it he is the engineer. Atleast he is covering all avenues and aspects so your friend will have a fully engineered car. XD
  21. I talked to a mechanical engineer at my work. He said when he did do engineer certificates, that the only people who can void it are other engineers with similar qualifications. But as it IS a legal document, it will have to be done through a court and they will have to present sufficent evidence to void it. I did not ask him about expiry dates as such, but if it has one it will be writen on the engineer cert. They cannot invalidate them just because the 'format' or 'paper' that is was writen on has changed, as last time i checked you can still use the old bank notes as they are 'LEGAL' tender.
  22. hr32gts: He is usually seen driving down from the skate park, down past the waterfront and then back again. I've probably seen you a few times in Gunners but funny thing that recently i havent seen many skylines around. And TITAN!! You didnt come in on Tuesday...everything ok or just too tired? Also did this ford laser have any vinyl detail on its bonnet. I have seen one of a green varierty with detail on the bonnet driven by a bunch of girls before and when i was in my civic when my line was getting fixed they pointed at me and laughed...probably cause they could see their reflection in paintwork..dunno. Oh! Who was having a go yesterday around 4:00pm on the road coming off flemmington before aussie junk?
  23. From what i remember, the QLD mod plate is basically their version of a compliance plate. But if the mod plate says a certain size wheel on it and it happens to be the wheels on the car, I do believe it means the car was complied with them on it. Dont listen to anyone who says the modplate means nothing, without it you car CANT be registered as technically it hasnt been complied. Also if the car is registered, you dont have to take it over the pits, as i do believe you dont have to get an ID check done as it is older then 15 years. But personally I would get a engineers cert as either you will have to get one if u get defected later down the track or get one now. It would probably be cheaper to remove all the mods in the car just to clear the defect or register it. You also get peice of mind aswell when driving into a road side vehicle checking station.
  24. Hello, I'm mainly after a stock set of camber arms for a r32 GTR. My current ones add a permenent 3 degrees to camber which is great for racing but not ideal for the road. Next im looking for the inner stone guards for front wheel arches. Not fussed on that as posting them would be silly. Thanks Paul
