Apparently I require the entire drivers side hub and knuckle assemble to be replaced...yeah they can replace it...for a complete joke of a price. Anyone got a hub and knuckle (front drivers side) they have lying around? Cheers!

Ive been told my hub knuckle bearing is bent on my drivers side, so I cant get a proper alignment. Does anyone know what this is. I know what the knuckle is but the only bearing i can see in the workshop manual is the main wheel bearing. Anyone know, as my car isnt going anywhere unless i replace it, but i need to know what to replace ><

At work, first customer i serve...elderly person... Tells me he put in $34.50 in pump 3. In reality he put in $34.53... so I give him his change as he paid in cash. He looks at the change, as says it was 34.50. I reply it was 34.53. He gives me a death stare, the kind i would gladly wipe off his face. He walks not 4 steps away, turns around and goes, so it was $34.53?? I goes yes it was and it rounds up to 34.55. He gives me and the other console opperater another death stare and walks away muttering something about how riduclous it was that we deprived him of 2c. The other guy turns to me and says "WTF has he been for the past 15 year" I just say his 30 year old TV broken so he had to buy a new one and had to put fuel in his 1983 MERCEDES!! You drive a mercedes, and still give a hoot about legel tender that has been phased out since i was 10 years old!! After he left I produced the 2 cents i deprived him of...my two middle fingers... I agree with you Martin, the V8 super cars are purpose built. But that is what make the R35 so amazing aswell, as it is ONLY less then a minute off the V8 super car laps, and its a street car. I can also imagine Nissan when designing the R35GTR also had durability in mind, as well as performance (no point having a car that keeps breaking its everything when its under warrenty). If someone wants to go down the same road they did when they brought the R32GTR into bathurst, and Im also hoping they spare no expense and dont cut corners when it comes to any modifications they make, we can only wait and see. I dont mean to cause any arguments, all I'm saying that people will try to see how much power they can get out of the R35GTR. But seeing the performance figures for it factory, one would say Nissan knew what they were doing.

Hey, These are left over bits from repair work done on my car. I have 1 intercooler pipe, I think it is the one that goes into the passanger side of the intercooler. Free cause i dont need it and i didnt even pay for it. A set of aftermarket springs. Lower and harder, and since they are green im thinking they might be Tein...free cause has a fair amount of suface rust. 1 R32 GTR radiator. Not 100% sure of its condition, but if you want it you can have it. Free cause I wouldnt have a clue if the core is damaged. 1 R32 GTR front tower brace. Looks like a cheaper then most aluminium one, but will still do something if not make ur engine bay a bit nicer looking. Everything is free as I dont care, and dont want to start guessing how much something is worth when it might not work.

I read the March Motor mag today at work. Even though on Mount Panorama it was almost 20-30 seconds slower then the modern V8 Super cars, those cars have been tuned and tested and tune and retuned and pulled apart and put back together and tune again for each any every race they go into. The amount on money and time spend of prepping the V8 supercars for a race in terms of man power is probably just as much as the race itself. The R35 GTR hasnt really been out that long, but already alot of power upgrade are on the way. Give the tuners their time and testing, and we will see the lap times slowly get lower. Also from what I also read in that mag, the next Bathurst 1000 will have a R35 as the pace car XD The way I see it, as soon as the tuning shops start pulling apart the block itself (they might already be doing that) we will see the real hidden potential of the R35...well atleast I hope.

Probably is Badged a GTR, anything that would boost their ego. Probably just a play to get the 'chicks' into their car. But yes, I agree to this new generation. Absolute no respect for anything, even themselves. I'm up to the dying breed of people who do have something called respect to hold onto it because if generation X called police cops cause they gave them a ticket, generation (why the F is their IQ so low) shouts abuse to police...i can only hate to think of generation Z. I'm hoping after that generation it resets itself to generation A for apple cause there is where it all starts, when they are young. Too many people complaining about how smacking your child on the rump is abuse, and now the 12 year olds shout that when u do, even if it is because you spat on your neighbour. Personally its the schools and the parents faults as to why they were allowed to become this way. Most schools say its ok to bully as long as no one draws blood...something like builds personal strength. But when was the last time someone said this guy is bullying people, can you do something about him as he will be a total wanker when he grows up and we dont need any more of that in this world. I would also blame modern day R&B. It used to be great, but now all i get is the impression its about Sex, Drugs, domestic violence and cheating and mostly towards women. I see too many wannabes walking around with clothes 10 sizes to big and caps backwards, and all i heard is F this and F that cause that is all that comes out of their Ipods these days. Did you know that over 25% of highschool males thing is ok to rape a girl if they are both naked in a bedroom and she says no at the last minute... I do understand that the imports are cheap as chips now, and that is what i keep saying that any bogan with enough cash can just buy it and crash it and buy another. I wouldnt do anything either cause like Sinista32 said they would only come back with more people and trash my car.

I'm considering opening a new thread just for putting in all the skylines on the road which make a BAD name for us all... For instance.. Yellow R33 GTR with back rims and no rear spoiler. My girlfriends was in her friends car sitting at lights near Gungahlin lakes intersection waiting for it to turn green. Yellow GTR pulls up, guy winds down window and shouts... well lets just say something you would imagine a drunk as f$#k bogan would say to a girl at the nats, but in a more of a degrading offensive and downright disgusting way to say it. They then proceeded to rev the hell out of the engine and took off at the light with tyres squeeling just like a hoon. If i see the car and its unattended, lets just say i have brake fluid bottle in my car atm. If it is occupied, lets just day I have I have a tyre iron in the boot. If this F#$kwit is on SAU, can you please pick up your computer and smash it on your own head and break your neck for me. Sick and tired of so many wankers owning skylines and now my girlfriend is convinced (because the past 4 times she has come across them they have acted so) that only up themselves idiots own GTRs and the only decent skyline owners are gtst owners. Hi all XD I trying to buy a set of tie rods as one of my tie rods is slightly bent so it cant be adjusted. Was originally looking for just a stock tie rod, bit NO ONE has one...even people wrecking their cars... >< Anywho, will a R32 GTST tie rod fit onto a GTR? I've found aftermarket ones (JJR, Tuneagent, that other one on SAU business forum) but all they say is for R32. I'm looking at the Tuneagent onces Tie rod but none of the suppliers want to sell them to me...doesnt anyone want to make money...my car is sitting in a mechanic waiting for them and I have CIT starting next week.... Also if someone has a stock Tie rod they dont need I will pay you for it Thankies!!

As only one of my tie rods is still good, I only really need one but it would have to be a stock (nissan) one. If nothing shows up I will have to consider aftermarkets even though i dont really need them. Thanks NXTIME

Hey, After drivers side tie rod (dont need the end) for R32 GTR. My is bent ever so slightly the bolt cant be moved for adjustment. Dont know if the drivers side is same as passanger side, but from how they look i dont think there is. I've seen the aftermarket one, but atm looking for just single one as a stock replacement as I'm not drifting yet. PM a price if you can. Thanks! Paul

Hello, I'm now after the interior lights for R32 (I think the GTR and GTST are the same, but I have a GTR) Need the center light(door light) and the front reading light set. My have cracks in them so prefer ones without any cracks at all. If possible please be prepared to send me a pic. Thanks! Paul
