Man, i forgot about this thread... sorry mate. Andrew has had the car for at least 5 years that I can remember. He has been trying to sell it for about 1 and a half years i think.. He's now selling because he bought a motorbike which gives him a bigger grin than his skyline did.

I've dealt with John on my previous car modification pre-skyline.. Not going to say anything here. I went to Ray Spence to get my engineering done (POD, Wheels, FMIC, Exhaust) for $550. Took 8 hours to get the report in my hands (dropped off in the morning, picked up in the arvo). I think it was Mick that actually put me on to Ray Spence (cheers for that).

Hi Troy, Just sent you the information I have on the Skyline Andrew is selling. Not much difference between the Series 1 and 2 once they are modified. This one already has a VeilSide kit and GTR wing etc on it so you would only pick it as a Series 1 by the TPS having only 1 connector on it instead of 2 and the rear garnish is clear instead of the body colour.
-
Hi Troy, Are you after a Series 2 R33 in particular? I know of a local Gun Metal grey R33 (series 1) for reasonable price with mods. If you do a search for the user "GunMetalR33", it should bring up some links about it. He's had it for sale for a while now. Edit: Just did a search and it seems his For Sale isn't to be found. He has it for sale on the Defence forums and I also have an email I can forward if interested.

^^^ Thats an awesome effort ^^^ Love to get back out there again one day. Reece needs someone out there to keep him in check..

I highly doubt you need an upgraded oil pump for 200rwks... I'm pushing around 260rwkw with standard oil pump without any oil control issues for about 10months now. I have done my water pump though due to '100,000km service'.

I'm not sure if JD_R33 went, but I think I spotted him in the Blue GTR followed by a Silver GTST leaving wheels... Couldn't believe how many cars were out. Also spotted a Silver R34 GT-T near the SDMA hillclimb Wheels entry behind the tent where an open wheeler was free revving nicely..
-
Yes, those were the plates

Spotted an insane looking R34 GTR (midnight purple) in Manuka around 11am this morning. I think he noticed me staring and gave it a bit of a boot for me

My old work will be completely shutting down next Friday. It was sold to a French company about 3-4 years ago and had a large growth in America and now they claim that its to expensive to run the company in Canberra. Yet the seem to completely forget the original developers of all our products have now been retrenched. Good luck to 'em I say, glad I got out 3 years ago.

Thats probably as close to the best outcome you could have after an attempted theft, apart from actually catching them.. I've got a GPS/GSM tracker in mine from the group buys off this forum. Using a Vodafone 365day prepaid card. I think the forum members username was gtr_z or something like that.

Well done! I did notice your Fujitsubo as you drove past me when I pulled off into the driveway at work. Very shiny :-P How is the sound on it? I didn't hear your's either as I was too busy making sure I tuck in enough so no one hits the car when I slow right down waiting for the electric gate to so very slowly open. Had ESP tune mine, I still have to go back to get a high boost readout (couldn't get one on the 43 degree day it was tuned on).. Owning a Skyline is nothing compared to owning my Liberty RS, I'd have my tools out every night. The Skyline is only every second night. And as for the missus, well yes that too but I mean, its the only time she ain't busy studying.. Oh and a 200db stereo, I only wish you were serious.... Could only imagine the vibration that would happen.
-
Hahaha, stalker. What did you think of the sound? I put the spare exhaust on last night that I said you could come check out so you can decide. Any decision on rims for yours yet? Did you make it to Sydney to do the performance shop hopping? You could have followed me up the driveway too since I'm usually one of the first few to arrive, no one else was at work yet to complain. As for beer o'clock at the Kingo, I'm usually in Kingston on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights (busy with the missus) but could easily walk up to the pub.

Is he on the forums? Spotted a Maroon R33 yesterday arvo on the way home on Mugga Lane, gave a wave, got a wave. Also, spotted JD_R33 on my way to work following me. Everytime I see that GTR I wish I could have saved more pennies to get one.
-
White R33 on Mugga lane yesterday arvo. Sorry for the late wave, I was absorbed in your headlights, are they standard?? Also spotted a Maroon/Red R32 pass my house yesterday around 6pm. Would anyone find it weird or confronting if another skyline owner saw you working on your car, decided to pull up and introduce/have a squiz (or at the very least, a wave if you are staring in their direction)?

I'm Ticked Off...what Gets You Wound Up?
W1ngnut replied to LTSJayce's topic in Australian Capital Territory
I watched it. You didn't miss much guys. The usual race across the country 750 miles long and only one fuel tank... And they also had the Bugatti Veyron on with the new Zonda... Bugatti won in the drag but the Zonda was quicker round the track. -
Is everyone ok? Last post today was 8am..... Just checkin, hope you are all well!

In the ACT, you still have the one intake mod apply however, myself and others have gone through Dickson with a POD AND FMIC installed. You have to make sure that the POD is well secured in place and not flapping about and the FMIC well, as long as its not dodge on the install, should be fine (having said that, i still got my POD and FMIC engineered before I went back to stock air box) As for the aftermarket boost controller, that will fail. You are not allowed to be able to modify boost from factory. In reality, if its a manual controller, just remove it and go over and then put it back on.. If its electronic, have it installed in a nicely hidden place.

Possibly spotted Stinkypoo in Kingston last night heading towards the Kingo possibly around 7pm (didnt have a watch with me) and a red 32 going the same way about 1 hour earlier than that.
-
Yes, yes it was. That is one awesome looking GTR, JD! That's also the longest 'cruise' i've ever had with another skyline. Felt good. LOL. That explains a lot Gus, I finish around 4:30.
-
John commented that I shouldn't book any work with them until late Jan / early Feb, so they may very well be on holidays....
-
Gus, what time are you usually on Mugga Way? I take mugga way and then monaro towards calwell every arvo around 4:30..
-
Thought it may have been a Veilside rear. The rear diffusers give it a damn mean look.
-
Cheers. I think your's would be the only Gold R33 I know of in town... What bodykit do you have?
