  1. Thanks for the advice on emissions guys and gals. I'm thinking along the same lines DriftGTS, just want to be perfectly legal so I don't have to pee my pants whenever I come into an RBT etc etc... I have heard word that it costs like $1500 to sit an emissions test in Sydney and you pretty much always fail and have to repay and resit.. Anyone have solid info about how much it costs to get tested and certified? Michele, that type of situation really rides me. I used to 'look up' to the AFP in Canberra for being quite down to earth and friendly, but lately when they start using all these scare tactics that 'gets the job done' (ie - raise more revenue), it is just so very annoying and wrong. Why is it that they can blantantly say "we are targetting hoons blah blah blah" and then sit all over our rears, for starters its discrimination and also quite unsafe as well. If they sat on someone's rear that was driving a new Mazda 3, I would imagine that it would move a little quicker too because it wouldn't understand the same as us that the car is a cop. Except that would never happen because Mazda 3's don't 'speed'..
  2. I'll have to try that too GTRKat, except I might end up wearing handcuffs instead.... Does anyone know much about emission testing for the ACT? I was thinking about being a bit pro-active and getting my car legallised with the PowerFC etc so I don't have any issues with defects as such.....
  3. I would normally agree with this. Only Unregistered and Uninsured, but i saw this being used a couple of weeks ago at the bridge near Jerra roundabout towards Hume. They had plenty of 'normal' car pulled over but there was a fair share of 'performance orriented' cars as well. Namely a few WRX's and an EVO that i saw as i went past (thanks self for being in a hyundai at the time).. Its just another excuse to pull us over and open the bonnet for another $30 inspection fee and what ever fine they see fit. Such a backwards system at times. Having said that, yes, any car that is unregistered/uninsured should be off the road in my books too. They just need to stop being so petty with 'performance' vehicles.
  4. Spotted Gus heading home yesterday along Monaro Hwy. Sorry mate, you'd never have had a chance to wave since I was in a Hyundai.
  5. Spotted a White R33 GTST on Monaro Hwy yesterday turning off towards Chisholm.. Tried my best to catch up and give a wave in case you were on here but that speed camera makes it difficult..
  6. Spotted now across from my house - Grey R32 GTST, no wing, 5spoke rims, cannon exhaust, number plates ends in either 77S or 775, can't completely see from here, bad angle.. Also appears to have a rear diffuser as apart of the rear bar.
  7. Thanks Michelle. I plan to enter it one day as well once the car is deemed safe (tune wise) by myself. Will see if I can get some of my mates together to come out and have a look as I'm sure they'd like to be apart of it as well.
  8. I'm still yet to enter the SDMA Hillclimb area, is there parking available for spectators? Is there any place we shouldn't stand/walk?
  9. I went to rock up to the skidpan to see you guys out there.. Little did I know I had the wrong day and rocked up on the Sunday. DOH!
  10. Hey Gus, Twas me! Nice 32 mate.
  11. Same goes for the AllRounder I posted about Ben. I had the Yellow Top in the Subie.. Excellent battery, but not for the price.. I got the AllRounder for half the price and it has a longer deep cycle charge. (P.S - I just realised I said Battery World, but it is suppose to be "The Battery Factory")
  12. Is that 3/4's of a second to start or 3 - 4 seconds to start? I run an 'AllRounder' from Battery World in Fyshwick. Cheaper and has more punch than the typical Yellow Tops. It takes around 1/2 a second to 3/4 of a second to crank the engine over. The CCA on it I think is around 600CCA with a higher AH rating than the yellow tops. AllRounder Battery
  13. Welcome Craig
  14. Definetly working perfectly. Cheers again for letting me borrow the PFC @ Trojan Scott! NaughtyRuski - Want some more power? Get this (then some injectors and a Z32 AFM)
  15. The R35 GTR pumped out 322kw at all 4. Was an impressive beast and so fantastically balanced. Watching Glen put the foot down on the dyno and seeing the engine barely move an inch!
  16. There is a Pearl White lambo that gets around Manuka. Lady owner/driver. Absolutely awesome machine!
  17. Congrats to everyone's efforts today. Thumbs up to Chris for organising and ESP for running it. I think there were a few people that walked away with a lot more knowledge and some asking themselves (or their other half) how much money they can spend before the next day.... I was very impressed and pleased to know that ESP's dyno read 1kw more than Jake's Performance. Consistency was near spot on! Thanks for taking us for a quick lap to Ben, opened my eyes/ears to what a 1.5 way is like.
  18. I can only say, OMG! That white one was just awesome! Spotted GTRKat, Donnan, Chris, Reece, Thomas, Ben, Brendon and everyone else that i no doubt saw at the dyno day today!
  19. Spotted a White R33 GTST pass me on Monaro Hwy last night lighting up the rears instead of thinking that I may have been stranded on the side of the road, hence my hazard lights. Thanks...not.
  20. Hi Brock What is the condition of the Driver Side headlight? Also, do the weathershields come with all the clips (i'm assuming weathershield as in the wind deflectors for the driver and passenger windows)? Cheers Sam

Car needs some much TLC before I can chuck her onto the dyno, had to go for 95 RON petrol knock levels were right up all the way home. Will take it back to Trojan for some re-tuning in a fortnights time. Will go see Glen afterwards to get a quick run for myself so I can have a comparison for you guys on the same dyno.

  23. Spotted a Silver R33 GTS-T, female driver, on Monaro Hwy this morning coming up to Mugga Way turn off. Tried to wave but she was too busy texting.....
  24. Yay, someone spotted me I had to get a 'last minute gift' for Fathers Day from Bunnings since my brothers deviated from the plan..
  25. If it is going to be on the 27th CeJay, i should be able to make it. I couldn't make the 20th so was waiting for a final date before I said anything... I am away on the w/e of the 20th at a mates house, and i'm praying my engine doesn't go bang down in Orbost to make it to the dyno day.
