    Going To Japan

The Nigerians were a pain in the ass when i was there a few weeks ago. "No i'm not going into your bar, I'm getting some dinner." "We have chips and burgers upstairs. And drinks. And more." "No. Me and my girlfriend want actual food from an actual restaurant." "First drink free for the lady."
  2. You're a cop magnet if your plates read something like 'HKTK34'. Or if you're good at rev dumping.
  3. An amazing piece of engineering an amazing part of Aussie motoring history. Wow...
  4. "areldited" it. haha top write up
  5. i reckon the first post is faulty.
  6. Not too sure what's going on there as I can't see the MBC...but you don't need to keep the standard solenoid on. You can disconnect it. Just run the hoses from the intercooler pipe to the MBC input side and then from the output side to the wastegate actuator (gold 'bell' joined to the turbo if you aren't sure). That should do it, then just slowly wind up the boost until your neck breaks. Any more probs with it let me know!
  7. No worries. If you have anything to add feel free to throw in pics etc. Cheers! Yes, i've installed de MBC. Yes, all wastegate+actuator equipped turbos would work off the same principal. It should work. He's probably running too much boost and the ECU is shitting itself - so wind the boost down. Other than that he could regap the plugs to 0.8mm or go get a retune to get the A/F ratios right. Upping the boost can cause flat spots in the power curve as you might already know. Post updates guys, would like to hear how the extra boost is coming along haha
  8. nice and dirty
  9. R33 GTR pump in a gtst is good. Can't say much about it seeing as mine was fitted by a mechanic, but i had the stock pump, a bosch 040 and now the gtr pump in my r33 gtst. I'd say it has the power capacity similar to the 040, but it's probably more reliable. It also sounds good, whirring away, compared to the other two pumps. If you stick your head under the car it sounds really noisy though, it's a big buzzing sound. But try get the whole assembly if you can, beats stuffing around trying to fit it. If you don't have a better option i'd recommend this mod.
  10. I wouldn't worry too much then. The ones suggested are sweet for what you need.
  11. Although they're related, the RB25 is just a different animal compared to the 20. It's like that 17 year old Chinese dude that killed the weightlifting at the Olympics. His balls are just so deep.
  12. There's more to life than being really, really, ridiculously fast *does blue steel pose*
  13. What not keep your Nur, since it's quite amazing, and then replace it with the R35 down the track? You're only putting a deposit down for one, no need to sell the Nur this VERY SECOND FREAK!
  14. Depends how badly you want to increase the sound.
  15. That ridiculous considering it was released in Jp in 2007 and the USA in 2008! Fkn NissanAu! Great news for importers, those 'who dwell on the fringe' and other certain Beer Barons. What? Qualified to write letters? Ace!
  16. If it's still tapping after an oil change you'll probably need to get the lifter/s repaired and examine the lubrication system. I wouldn't leave it like that.
  17. There isn't much you can remove/lighten without a compromise. I mean safety/defects/expense/extra noise IMO only take the above advice (it's all correct) if you're serious about circuit/drag and have some dollars to spend on lighter parts. The heavy bits are up front, but are expensive to replace (bonnet, fenders, engine components). SO removing too much from the rear (speakers, spare, tool bag, boot trim, rear seat, wing etc) will worsen the weight distribution. Expect less grip where it's needed most. A fair few people here have returned their flywheels back to stock after going lightened. It's annoying to drive on the roads. IMO the best thing for a street car is try not to ADD weight, as a minimum. Hope you work it out mate. Cheers
  18. Funny that you Vic blokes already think these are obscure dealerships. Why did Dissan do this? Or maybe it's incorrect information (don't cry, show me proof). It would be an unwise business move not to have at least ONE city dealer that retails the R35. That's just a given. Don't think about it.
  19. My apologies didn't realise it was NA. In that case cams (and yes a P&P too) and gears would be a great addition. You're going to obviously want the extra lift from bigger cams to squeeze more air/fuel in, and if you ported it that would reduce the restriction on that process and you'd get more out of the setup. Good luck champ.
  20. R33 GTST Cat back 10psi pod stock ECU 98 octane approx. 450kms/tank Best was 500kms. That made me blow my load. Stay off boost if you want to increase kms you tightarses. As soon as you make full boost it's like you've swapped into a V8.
  21. Cams are really a waste unless you want 280kW+, have a laggy ass turbo or are adamant to have fat response. To bother with buying them, fitting them, retuning = for any less power you won't see a massive gain over stock cams IMO. But if it's part of your mod plan then go for a decent set (HKS, Tomei). Cheers
