  1. Yeh i agree. Looks like it's taken a bit of a lashing.
  2. I'm glad i was busy last night! I was gutted that i couldn't run, wanted to see the R35. Will CRD run it another time Matt?
  3. It's the same one displayed in Sydey right?
  4. Hmmm, back seat sounds roomier lol. Either way thanks for the offer guys. At least i know i can sign up without an issue
  5. I like the idea of a lazy Sunday meet.
  6. I'd leave it. Save your money for turbo back exhaust.
  7. Now i'm not buying a GTR. It might happen to me
  8. Yeh tailgaters suck arse. Even in a gtst ppl want to drop a gear and rev next to me. It's often the shiteboxes that sit on my arse. I end up slowing down, and they move on. It's like they want to be a piece of your great life with your great car, because their driving experience amounts to nothing more than 80kw and handling with all the finesse of rust. Just smile and say "see ya later, motherf**ker"
  9. I know original and very good quality/low mileage R32 GTR's command a very high price, up to and above 30k. So it really depends how high the quality is. Don't sell it to someone looking for a thrasher if you want a higher price is my opinion. Unless they're willing to pay more for a reliable, unabused GTR. GL with the sale mate.
  10. I wonder if CRD will make the R35 dose?
  11. Hey guys i'm keen on coming along but not competing. The only real glitch for me is i might not have my licence when texi rolls around- can i ride down with anyone? I smell awesome if that helps
  12. If you add all the advised mods it runs just a tad over budget. Gotta love Skylines
  13. This thread title is wrong.
  14. I asked the same question before. The responses i got turned me away from it. Seems to only give serious improvement in certain conditions. I'd say if you're either big into motorsport/into heavy mods then it's necessary. For a daily driver it'll make tottering around town worse because the factory flywheel works well for low rpm gear changes due to its extra weight/momentum. A lightened flywheel won't be the same. It needs rpms to get going (not much i'd imagine) but once it does will provide much less restriction on how fast you hit redline. That's what i was told from memory. Cheers.
  15. Yeah i think it'd make a *slight* improvement in an engine bay that can melt arctic glaciers
  16. Lockbars are only $100 right? C'mon man, it's an excuse to work on the car for a few hours
  17. Too bad Targa ain't no Super GT this year.
  18. I've heard an RB26 pumping through a 3in exhaust with gutted cat and resonator and twin pipes at the end. Sounds raspy at idle and like a Ferrari at full song
  19. This thread has molested my notion of the thousands of years the English language has evolved to this very day.
  20. I haven't missed anything A friend of mine has a 200kw R33 with a tuned PFC and can't get more than 460km to a tank. I have a 190kw R33 with a factory ECU at 10psi that holds him in a straight line and gets 500km a tank. My engine is older and has much less spent on it. I agree with your point on a general note. What i'm getting at is a good cost vs. performance compromise.
  21. I agree. Bite the bullet if you're in the market for it. Get the PFC.
  22. It's the bolster massage plug.
  23. The factory ECU will comfortably support 10psi. What logic is there in spending up to $800 ($300 SAFC, $500 tune) to run an extra 2psi?
  24. Hey Steve it's Omar from the Hills meetup I have a mate that recently bought an R33 shell, but is thinking of selling everything off. Do you want me to contact him and see what the deal is?
